I was actually wondering what it would be like for someone to watch this that had never seen any of the other movies, and I'm really glad you gave an answer. The confusion you had was absolutely hilarious. I mean, not seeing the other MCU Spiderman movies is one thing, but none of the other MCU movies at all? I knew right away you were going to be thrown off, and I love your exclamations and remarks when that happens. My favorite question you had is "why does the Statue of Liberty have Captain America's shield?" and I have to tell you, no spoilers, you have to watch Infinity War and Endgame to answer that, if you really don't know why they'd go to such great lengths to honor Cap. Really, the whole MCU is worth the watch, and unfortunately that's a shit ton of movies and shows to get through. They are all good in their own right, a few stinkers, but it all builds into that. From Iron Man all the way to this movie, it's been one big interconnected story. Really hard to keep straight sometimes, but payoff is always fantastic. I do want to be the nerd to say this, though: in the current timeline, this movie is only possible because of the events that are happening from the Loki show, which opened up the entire multiverse. This is also explored in the What If series, which happens simultaneously along said show. And then THIS movie is happening, also at the same time, allowing for the multiverse to break through and they just happen to be from Sonyverse. They have the same imagery and effects from each point in every show in this movie after the spell breaks out, so nice neat little callbacks. If you've spent this long staying away from the MCU, but you liked this, I earnest say you should give it a shot. If you liked this, you'll like them. Like you said, if you weren't a nerd before, this one would make you. Can't wait for your Iron Man reaction! ((Edit: proofreading))

Where to begin? Tom Holland's "Home trilogy" is his Spider-Man's origin. It took three films in the MCU to tell his story because his Spider-Man was plucked off the streets by Tony Stark, who gave him everything in his spider arsenals, including joining the Avengers getting to know Dr. Strange. With No Way Home, he is stripped down to his bare essentials, and the stakes have actual consequences making him the Spider-Man we know and love, as shown with his comic correct red and blue spider-suit at the end. Tom's Spidey appearances outside of the Home trilogy are Captain America: Civil War (1st appearance in the MCU), Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. They did not de-aged Tobey because he is the oldest of the three Spider-Men, which fits within the story's context. He is wise and protective. Unfortunately, while filming Seabiscuit, Tobey got a back injury that almost cost him from returning to Spider-Man 2, to which they poked fun in the movies. Andrew Garfield steals every scene he's in, and with the emotional depth he gave after saving MJ, you will need to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to understand why. BTW, Andrew is the werewolf if you watch some of his interviews before NWH was released. Willem Dafoe is just a legend. At almost 70 years old, he performed all of his stunts, and it shows. Whoever said the line "With great power comes great responsibility" dies. Aunt May is Tom Holland's Spider-Man's Uncle Ben, and she told the correct comic line: With great power, there must come great responsibility.

4:05 I don't think he's ever had normal children (despite Itsy Bitsy, his daughter, being made from his DNA) so I wouldn't know. What I do know, however, is that Peter Parker has radioactive semen that can kill people. A comic version of MJ died because of it 20:35 Earlier in the movie, Peter asks Dr Strange to turn back time, but Dr Strange explains that he doesn't have the Time Stone anymore (lost it in Endgame) so he can't.

Explanation of who everyone is (I'm writing this back when Flint Marko and Electro are introduced, so idk yet if you figure it out later in the video lol) - Tobey's villains - Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, Otto Octavius/Doc Ock, Flint Marko/Sandman Andrew's villains - Curt Connors/Lizard, Max Dillon/Electro Tom's villains - Adrian Toomes/Vulture (not featured in this movie), "Quentin Beck"/Mysterio (featured briefly)
