Miles didn't get friendzoned. Gwen needed a friend, not a lover. Also not every girl and boy in the same friendgroup need to become a couple. Gwen lost her best friend and closed her heart to other people, Miles helped her realise she does want friends again.

i partially agree with you, i agree that not every boy and girl (from a group of friends) need to become a couple and i agree thats he's not in friendzone gwen and miles do have a relationship in the comics, but in this case she was from another dimension, thats why ,i think, they don't have a relationship

What's interesting is that all spiders have some form of bio-electricity that they infuse into their webbing. This is what makes webs "sticky" They actually are just being attracted to the positive charge that living things give off. So if a bug flies too close, the static cling pulls it to the web and keeps it from escaping. So, if you have a niche knowledge of spiders miles' powers make sense. But no idea why peter never got this. Comic logic and it was just a different spider I guess

The original spider man was bitten by a radioactive spider that escaped from a container at Oscorp. Where Harry Osborn and his company where conducting experiments on them for various reasons, there where different kinds of spiders in the tanks, and they where conducting different experiments on each tank. So it goes to think different ones would have or give different powers. Add in each are from different worlds or makes since different circumstances created different spidermen or people. But Miles spider also passed threw the demention stream while it was activated, so it gained a little extra power boost.

I highly recommend Disney Atlantis: The Lost Empire. It's one of my favorites, and is regularly slept on. Edit: This movie is an absolute Master Class in creating good movies (not just animated movies). There are so many positive things I can say about this movie. I've also seen the deleted scenes and some of the old rewrites, and even the edits they made were the perfect choices for the movies. (Most of the time, I think they cut out too much). Edit 2: That's not the reason he's called the Kingpin. The reason they created him that way, is bc he is one of Spiderman's biggest villains of all times. His reach and power are supposed to be larger than life, so they animated him to be larger than life. He's still big in the comics and such, but not as comically disproportionate.

10:55 about the spider, it's very likely the spider that bit Miles isn't the one who bit Peter and has its own unique gifts, including the elctroshock power. Its powers are foreshadowed a little with the spider, In particular watch the initial graffiti scene again. If you pay attention to the spider jumping from spraycan to spraycan, you'll notice it changing color depending on its background, foreshadowing its invisibility powers.

i think in terms of art direction, this film is the best marvel movie hands down, and the best animated movie disney's come up with in a hot minute. Like it really takes advantage of the fact that it's an animated film rather than live action with its visuals, like how the characters from the other dimensions look and everything from the colors, to the backgrounds, the weird glitchy effects, etc. i really wish mainstream stuff would experiment more instead of just sticking to live action + craploads of CGI/ super detailed 3D where all the character models follow a specific formula. i'm probably biased as an animation student but i really do think that this film has something special that all the other big superhero movies don't, and it would be cool to see more bold, creative stuff like spider-verse for the masses.
