Live in the suburbs now. I currently work with the youth who live in LA and I am constantly dropping gems on these kids minds. Some listen, others dont. No need to be a doctor, lawyer, or even a psychologist to be successful. If school is not your thing, maybe a trade is. Plenty of plumbers, electricians, and welders making big bucks working in a union. Find what you love and become the best at it. I never tell kids that their only option is going to college. There are plenty of things people can do to become successful. One thing is for sure, I never forget where I come from.
