He's in Sydney Australia and does a mix of shorts and longer how to's and tours. Like you, he's very knowledgeable, unassuming, natural, good fun, and a pleasure to watch. Good luck with your channel, I think the longer videos will help it to grow quickly.

How do you make your plants so shiny??

qUESTION 1: Which do you prefer Leca or Pon , and why??

I prefer Pon. I like LECA, but it’s more maintenance. The PH has to be checked and a 3 part fertilizer is needed to keep the PH at an optimal level for nutrient uptake. Also, the LECA itself has to be flushed. I don’t have to do any of that with Pon. I still use LECA though as a soil amendment to add aeration.

@@leafydiva I recently switched over to Lechuza Pon. I find that Lechuza Pon is very heavy and expensive.I noticed in a few of your videos that you use lechuza pon self watering pots, do you recommend them?

@@donnettadaniels7926 Yes, Pon is expensive but it works well. For me, the weight is perfect because I stake a lot of my plants and it holds on to poles and stakes very well. I use Lechuza self watering planters. They are also expensive, but Lechuza always has sales so I wait for a sale to purchase them

Would love to know how to prevent the one in one out leaf issue with my alocasias! My zebrina is about 3 feet tall now, each leaf sizes up, but we are stuck at 3. She drinks like she's a thirsty camel but looks like a giraffe with a green head BC of this 🤣

What is your soil mix for your Brazilian Philodendron?

It’s in pon now, but before it was in the soil it came from the nursery in. I honestly don’t stress too much about soil. I just use whatever I have on hand. 😅

I don’t. I don’t have much space so I have to be really selective about what I bring in. The BOP didn’t make the cut! 😅
