My aunt lived in Muwuyu Lane they left after independence for the Dale Dales. Used to catch emergency in Masasa i was 7 then lol. You just reminded me of the good old days. Imagine all those roads were clean and tarred

So all our streets have been turned into dust roads. Yaa zvakaoma, our location was the envy of many, living in Mufakose was a great honour, and people from afar were desiring to relocate to Mufombi. We used to converge at Area J to watch social soccer and various enjoyable games.

You have your nyama just like our nyama choma (roasted) with ugali (pap?) . This only addition a Kenyan would add is kachumbari i.e. a salsa of tomatoes onions and corriander (with chilli as optional). Parts of that town looks like the older section of Nairobi...same design and layout of houses.
