@Richard Banks we will see. Pens is different than Leafs. Our stars window is about to close unlike yours. He will have a chance to build a brand new team with his vision. Leafs have to spend now for your run. Pens already did that for 17 years.

Really loved Dubas's press conference today. I was happy to hear him (along with FSG Management) recognize Jen Bullano specifically for her work in making Kyle, his wife Shannon, and their children feel welcome and comfortable in the city - Jen is clutch and so important to the team. It was also a small thing, but I appreciated how Dubas addressed just about every reporter by name, which speaks to how he seems to want to cultivate relationships, which is very important; by all appearances, he seems genuine and humble. I really appreciated hearing how he's already working on evaluating the team, and how important it was to him to talk with Sully and Sid. So far, I feel really great about this move. Looking forward to how he can help the Penguins next season and beyond!

Why is he good? He was gifted the most talented group of players the Leafs have ever had but he couldn't put together a team that could even come close to winning. From my perspective, all he ever did was overpay players. Please enlighten me on why he is good?

PIT is lucky to have Kyle. Glad he got what he wanted, and too bad it didn't work out to stay in TOR. We had Burke in TOR and the guy set us back 7-8 years as a Franchise. While Kyle actually kept us moving forward as an organization, and was able to balance our present and the future, while getting very creative in trades and finding cheap FA who can help the team.

Would it be great if Auston Matthews decided to go to Pittsburgh to join Sidney Crosby. Everyone knows Auston is very good friends with Mitch Marner ......This is exactly what Pittsburgh would need . Auston Matthews has a very good relationship with Kyle Dubais. Mitch Marner may follow. Let's all hope this happens. Sidney Crosby deserves another Stanley Cup

He was GM. They assemble the lineup, they don't play for them. If he can't win with all those players, its more likely those players were incapable of putting them deeper in the playoffs? If the GM was at fault, it would be because he failed to get better players than the ones you mention. What were Matthews and company doing come playoff time the last 5 years? Not helping, obviously.

​@@adamspark9259 yes, a GM build a soft team who can win one round in 5 years. Gave 3 players 10m per year contract before they won one round of playoff. used 40% of cap for 4 players. He is a very stubborn guy and loyal to his small ahl players. Good luck.
