In n out is a family owned restaurant from Cali and they were strictly only California but they have expanded to Nevada and Texas the reason they don't want to be all over the u.s is because they don't want to make it a chain restaurant they want to keep they're ingredients as fresh as possible but head on the west & have yourself some in n out make sure to eat it at the restaurant so you eat it right away :)

I think one of the reasons why In N Out succeeds as a food business is the simplicity of their menu. They do not offer 30+ food options ( with different combinations). You get what came there for; a milkshake, a burger and a fry; that's what they focus on. I would have to say that my pick would be between Dairy Queen and In N Out :)
