It seems the people over at WatchMojo never actually form their own opinions. They either just put a bunch of random spots or they just go by what's popular. The amount of times they've made a "top 10 hardest" list and Battletoads was at number one is insane.

@@Neo-Metal17I guess "top 10 lists = ''''objective'''' lists" is kind of a 2008 mentality - and the mentality WatchMojo seems to be going for. I think when Nostalgia Critic made his Top 11 Saddest Moments list all those years ago, people went after him for not including Optimus Prime's death in the Transformers movie and then he had to make a nod to that death in a later video. I'm pretty sure this "top 10 lists = ''''objective'''' lists" mentality is also why many top 10 gaming KZbinrs in the early 2010s were specifying that "this list is MY opinion" so people wouldn't be mad for not including certain entries that they were fond of; video commentators from the mid-to-late 2010s criticizing these videos would interpret these messages as some kind of "please don't criticize me" message even though it's more to move away from the "top 10 lists = ''''objective'''' lists" mentality.

Something I noticed which I thought was pretty funny, is that the b-roll at the start of the first video is almost exclusively footage of the tracks in their ranking. Watchmojo didn’t want to record an extra couple of tracks for footage. I’m not mad…I’m just disappointed >:|
