I buy myself a Christmas gift every year. Sometimes not much money to too much money. But I’m always happy with my gift. Your gift suggestions are perfect. Maybe I need 2 gifts this year. Everyone should gift themselves. Prayers for my family, my daughter and 2 adult grandsons have COVID. They are really sick. My son-in-law and I haven’t had symptoms. I’m 75 so he is afraid I will get it. He is staying in a motel. Near their house. He drops food at the door.

I have a lighted 10x mirror and agree that everyone needs this. I even took it to the hospital when I had surgery. Have the scrapers too and use them every day. A lot of great ideas.

I need all of these except two of them and that's because I already have them. The latex pillow I have used since I was around seven years old which is a long time. Beauty Rest used to sell them in the 60's, that's how long I've used them. They are the most comfortable and when it's hot, they are cool and when it's cold they are cozy and warm. I used to search high and low for them before the internet, I can not sleep without one and I am known to take my pillow on trips. The only thing to watch out for is some people are allergic to latex and my niece is one of them. When she comes to visit I would make sure she has a cotton pillow.

Hi Renee, You have such good taste and ideas. I have already bought the pj's and the Kyvol Robovac. Love, love them both. I swear the Kyvol has little men inside directing it. The pajamas are super soft, I bought them in blue. So I totally trust your advice. I couldn't do without my microfiber towel. I leave mine up for an hour or so and just relax. It's great for curly/wavy hair! I recently ordered the panties and my bra hasn't arrived yet. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💖🙏 praying for families in KY.

That’s my pillow! Or should I say pillows! I fell in love with one when I was in 7th grade (I’m 65 now, so back in the dark ages LOL) and I slept on one nobody wanted to use at an older relative’s house. I just loved how it felt and how my head just floated on it. There was a time when I couldn’t find one anywhere when the original finally died an ugly death after 15 years (plus however many years old it was before I got it)! I tried pillow after pillow for years and when I finally found them again, I embarrassed my family with my display of joy in the store! LOL

Me too!!!! My mom bought everyone in the family a latex pillow when I was a teenager....and have been sleeping on them since. Nowdays they are very hard to find in stores. I love my latex pillow from Amazon. Wonderful!

Well, I'm going to have to just get me several of these. I've already gotten the microfiber hair wraps and I absolutely love them. I got them on Renee's recommendation and she didn't steer me wrong. I have curly hair and it is very, very thick. Those hair wraps have cut my hair's drying time in half--literally. I never use a blow dryer on my hair (it damages my hair something fierce--even with a diffuser), so I always just let my hair dry naturally. It used to take it 2 hours or longer to dry. Now it's about 45 minutes. And speaking of Amazon, if you don't know, you can use Amazon Smile (which I do). The advantage to using Amazon Smile is that they donate a small percentage of your purchase price to the charity of your choice. It isn't a huge percentage, but when enough people donate a small percentage, that adds up. My charity of choice usually ends up getting a couple thousand dollars a year (and my charity is a small farm animal sanctuary, so not a big charity at all and for a small charity, a couple thousand dollars is a lot!!). Of course that money isn't all from my own purchases, but when enough folks donate just a little bit, it adds up. And you pay no more on Amazon smile than you do on "regular" Amazon, you don't wait later for deliveries, etc. There is really no down side.

X number of years ago I found that same Swiss army knife in its sheath among those goodies people toss to the curb after moving. I never even noticed the toothpick or tweezers, I was just so darned impressed by how sharp those tiny scissors were. Conair products are decades-long favs of mine....their blow dryers have multiple heat settings plus cool on low air velocity --a must for my fine hair.

Well it's a little late for me to get my own Christmas gifts but oh my valentine day is coming soon! I have uses a latex pillow for at least 50 years I take it on vacation to the hospital wherever I sleep my pillow is there love it to the moon and back. Tis the season for some of us to stress out.... for a few minutes each morning I can sit, relax and breath...lol. I noticed you use a silk pillow case and just tossed it aside. Hi Renee! I purchased the All Natural Organic Latex Pillow after getting tired of "punching" my pillow, flipping it over constantly and generally, just losing sleep because of it (was expensive and only 4 months old!) Oh my goodness!! I haven't slept so good in ages! I am a hot sleeper and I haven't had one single sweaty face episode with this pillow and I haven't had to adjust it during the night. It is heaven!! I’ve had that mirror for years, I’ve replaced the bulb two or three times. (It’s available on Amazon (but it comes with a blue bulb also, which I do not use)). It’s not hard to change, but you need to take care when separating the two halves.

After your video about the happy light and having a friend who uses one for her SAD I decided to get one. I don't have SAD but I do have sleep apnea and can always use a better night's sleep. I've been using it and my sleep is getting better. I also find it gives me a little more energy throughout my day...and who can't use that...Lol! Funny about the scrappers because my mom would ask for dish rags for the kitchen for Christmas and I always thought why not something more fun. But...I have over 20 years of experience working in hospitals and hold several degrees (Bio/Edu/Bus/HR) and I can confidently say that I just don't trust research results nowadays because the field has been horrendously compromised all for the sake of a dollar. Drug companies have bribed and/or blackmailed FDA , CDC, and other such entities to alter test/research results to sell a product. It's a sad commentary on our times. Common sense has flown the proverbial coop, but before big pharma pushed their way in, there were studies that proved more sunlight (real or artificial) can have a positive effect. As for the placebo effect...regardless of the means (fake or artificial) to which a person gains a positive reaction, it is still a positive reaction. That's why placebos are still used in healthcare etc.... Look at the diet plan NOOM...it's all psychological. God bless you and Merry Christmas!

Hi Mary! I know Conair makes an 8x magnification but it's a different design all together. I do believe it's a battery powered version which I don't prefer. But search around on Amazon...surely you can find something :)

I bought a happy light for my hubby Alex and he just refuses to use it even though he has SADs. He is a really negative person normally but in winter he becomes unbearable Renee. Check out the Zoey memory foam pillows on Amazon. Bit pricey but I've had mine for years and it's holding up really well, plus it's adjustable because you can add or remove as much stuffing as you want. I'm a side sleeper so I'm obsessed with their curved pillow

I have carried a Swiss army knife for years. Years ago I was called to serve jury duty and when they put my bag through the x-ray scanner they told me I had a knife and I had to take it out and give it to them. It was embarrassing at the time....but now I laugh about it.

This is a wonderful caring shelter...and where we adopted our Benson (our black Miniature Schnauzer who passed in 2018) The back area of the shelter was completely destroyed (where the dogs can run freely) and they need food/supplies. It's best to make a donation so they can purchase what they need.

Question? Why don't you want to pull the moisture out of your hair? I thought it was to help dry your hair.

HI! Since I have curly hair....it's best to apply product when my hair is very wet. I don't use the hair wrap to dry my hair....it's simply to keep the hair up and out of my face while I put on lotion and other things. Then I take my hair down and apply product. But....my friend with straight hair use the wrap for drying purposes. So really it can be used either way :)

I did want to add, that when I watch a video on You Tube, if there are links, all I have to do is click on a little button that says "See More". All the links pop right up. I don't know how many of you have that, but that's a really easy way to see links for me.
