It's amazing how many different settings there is on that machine. Great demo. You are so generous. With my homemade stick welder (microwave transformer welder, lol) I've connected a dimmer dial to control the voltage. I'm looking forward to having more control when I eventually am able to get a real one.

Ok, young man, I am only going to say this once....well may multiple times.....GREAT JOB!!!! Interesting what a modern machine will do. Beats playing around with 1970's technology and Harbor Freight equipment converted. However, if that is all one has, you have, and do, give us invaluable information that can be applied to all welding scenerios!!! Thanks so much, Brandon, for well thought out and informative videos!!! Be well, be safe, be Blessed!!!

Thanks man I appreciate it! This thing really packs a punch! To be honest, when I got my Fronius welder I was lost trying to figure out the settings menu until I watched a 3 part series someone had made. Another great video on this welder, thank you Brandon. I just may have to hold off buying myself a new welder and wait to watch the rest of your demos on this machine. I'm really impressed with the multifunction of this machine. I never really gave any thought to multifuction machine till now. Thanks again Brandon.

To be honest Randy me neither. I'm 52 so I'm old school. We used transformer based welders. It wasnt until the last 8 years or so that I started messing with inverters and it is a real gamechanger.

The first machine I bought I did a review and apparenty they got wind of it and they asked if they could use my video. Now they use a lot of my clips and will throw me a welder occasionally to use. I love exposing people to welding and getting the word out. An opportunity like this could really help get someone setup in a good way.

Hey Brandon, another great clear video of this machine and nice to see how easy it is to set the parameters, how smooth it welds ( even aluminum ). It also produces not much spatter so it is nice to weld with and less clean up after welding. Thanks for the video and waiting for the next one, have a nice day.

I have installed a new gun and liner on my flux core MIG welder. The wire feeds well with the welder lead straight but is erratic with even a sweeping curve in it. Any suggestions?
@robsdeviceunknown2 жыл бұрын
Tighten roller?
@Farm_fab2 жыл бұрын
It could be you have the wrong drive roller, or you might have the wrong liner, or consumable tip.
@BrandonLund2 жыл бұрын
Likely your wire reel is too tight. It should unwind with very little tension. Make sure your using the serrated drive rolls and that you have enough tension
@armandoperez66732 жыл бұрын
Hi Brandon, i just watched again your video "WELDER GIVEAWAY MIG Welding Aluminum"(and writting some notes,) I just noticed that you have said about the changing of the liner. I may have missed it the first time i watched. Sorry for the confusion i asked the last time, about the liner changing. Again thank you for the great video of alum welding with the YWM 200. God Bless. Oh i'm sorry it must be too early in the morning there.sorry if i disturbed you. Because its 2:27 pm here at our place.Again Thank you and i'm sorry to disturb you.
@BrandonLund2 жыл бұрын
It's all good buddy. I turn off my notifications when I'm sleeping. As far as the liner, yes you need to change it out. It's kind of a pain but if you don't swap out the liner and you try to weld aluminum with the liner made for mild steel it wont feed correctly. The graphene liner reduces the friction on the soft aluminum wire as it passes thorough. Also, if you try to run mild steel wire through the graphene liner it will destroy it. The mild steel wire is too abrasive on the soft graphene liner. Thanks for your support on the channel my man! HERE is a video showing the liner and how to swap it out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6uwf3ypmbOdapo A better option would be to spend $49.99 and get yourself a spare Euro MIG gun then install your graphene liner that comes with the machine into that. HERE is a link to a spare mig gun yeswelder.com/products/mig-torch-l150-10e?ref=BRANDONLUND

Hi brandon. If i may ask. If you weld aluminum w/ that YWM 200 do you have to change the liner w/ what you said before in your other video, i think its called Graphene liner?
@BrandonLund2 жыл бұрын
@armando perez when you weld aluminum you have to use the grathene liner. Its reduces the friction on the soft aluminum wire. If you try using it with mild steel wire it will ruin it because the steel wire is much more abrasive
