Thank you wery much for your content, explain, your exellent work! But welding frame, for me, wan not so good. It needs to be welded from bouth sides, i understand that it was too hard, and will be a planty of work. This is a place with a much more load than we can imagine, couse of weight not only truck and car behind, but the road trash too - holes and hard hills.

On a prior video on the C30 wrecker you showed a brief look at the frame. Seeing that you got to fixing it in this video was awesome. Surprisingly the broken frame metal had only surface rust and your perseverance in welding the clamped together broken parts and reinforcing them made them stronger than when new. There are many sites about rescuing old iron Chris, but none have matched your intelligent approach to repairing these often abandoned machines !👍👍👍👍🏆🔧🔧🔧

Reference your almost under your breath comment from Jenn’s home repair video (lol) - I never thought about what it’s like for you in your specific situation regarding all these vehicles... you are not a restoration guy so no slow roll. Not a turn and burn like a flipper channel. Not purchasing personal vehicles with unlimited budget. Not a numbers matching historical guy nor a resto mod guy... I could hear your tongue in cheek saying not to buy junk otherwise you will be stuck on every little thing. But it’s your channel brother! And it’s awesome and hopefully paying good bills! Who knows, if not for the wrecker Jenn would have missed publishing great video and you would have been elbow deep in sewer pipe part 2.

I came across you years back. An honest guy and gets the job done, I first thought. As time passed and you showed all we see it became clear that you've got that bit extra in your drive and energy. The going gets tough and you just step it up a bit. Until you win. To me this tow truck is a most fascinating and unknown sphere to view. Im interested all right but i dont have any criticism of how you're managing it. Example , the chasis repair. Looks a bit hmmm!? But we know from watching that the joint is tougher than most parts of any chassis. Thanks for being the guy that shares your adventures. Or ventures. Outstanding variety in the run of the same mill. @@NoNonsenseKnowHow I too just wanted to say: and I don't comment on channels much, but I just have to tell you how much I'm enjoying all the hard work you're putting into your content! I truly enjoy watching your thought processes, it helps me a lot with my old junk! I've learned so much! I also deeply appreciate your attention to our interest in your content format. It's been extra work for you I'm sure but it's been great and appreciated! I love getting exactly what I want to see with more available if I choose to at some time down the road. But this has been awesome! I'm still only subscribed to your channel but that may change, your wife is a very talented person and musician, and I'm always glad to see families including their WHOLE family working together as as you can tell by my thumbnail: LOVE the pup shots which you keep to a very fun, reasonable distraction. Sorry for rambling, but I just wanted you to know I see the hard work and appreciate it. Loving the whole format of this and the last couple video more than I can say. I think you've really found a niche here on YT over the other guys just trying to find gimmicks to just make $$$ (nothing wrong with making $$$, I just hate to see the pure pursuit of it consume people's content). When I saw that poor attempt at the frames’ fish plate. The welder in me said,”get the fire wrench.” But the mechanic in you said air hammers. This channel is great; dog boat girl and projos. Killer combination!

Great job on the wrecker. I think this is the prefect tool for you to do the kind of work you do. Especially if you want to get back to your place to work on it. Love your videos. They are really fun to watch.

Love watching you work. I think you should order some custom NNKH mudflaps for the wrecker. That'd be awesome. Keep up the good work. Have a Merry Christmas!

The bushings in the wheel lifts are a common wear item. You should be able to get kits to completely re-bush the lift and make it good as new.

Nice job fixing the tow truck cracked frame. For what it’s worth and just an observation,i noticed there were heavy rubber mounts missing between the frame and mounting brackets.May not make a difference but probably put less stress on your welds. You bolstered them up pretty well that they’ll last.Just thought I’d mention i saw them missing.Looking forward to watching next video. Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

Pretty nice repair Chris, obviously somebody just threw that crap together and probably did more damage trying to fix it. Like to wish you and Jen a very merry Christmas and a far better New Year. Many blessings guys!

I had a 1952 Chevrolet wrecker back in the seventies when I ran a full-service gas station. You are bringing back a lot of good memories as I made a lot of money with the old truck. I had a Tulsa oil field pto wench on it. It could literally pull a stump out of the ground. Thank goodness it was a virtually rust-free Texas truck. One evening I sanded the whole cab down and painted it with a brush using the best enamel paint and brush I could find, it turned out great you had to look for brush marks. Green bottom and white top to match my Shamrock gas station colors. I traded it for a chopper later on and regretted it for a long time. I love watching you work on your tow truck, I like the way you fix things, make it work no frills. That's the way I always tried to maintain/repair stuff too. I was never afraid to use or put a scratch on my vehicles.
