Anyway as an ex mechanic(because Nissan cuted off for economical troubles), I recomend check sparkplugs(all of them), air and fuel filters, ignition wires(all of them using a screwdriver, its easy), battery(checking voltage) and if it can, fuel pump (because is the fuel tank), then can found the reason of any engine can't turn on, also come to all engines.

Charge the battery in the Evo then try to start it Theo. And at 16:40- The car starts with the "CHIP" placed back in the key. I did not think there would ever such a thing in a key in my life.

If you want to do gasless welding you need to use fluxcore wire for mig welding. Otherwise you'll need gas because the weld will fail due to perosity (all the tiny holes in the weld) Even though you're using a relatively cheap welding set, please use gas (argon) have a look at boc. It's so much better to weld with and safer (the gas is inert)

I think you might have left the immobiliser in the old key housing. They're usually tiny, recessed in the casing and black so its pretty easy to miss.

It might also be the key Theo, if the key has a dot on it near the fob, it has a chip, and it won't start unless it has the chipped key in it.

The problem with the evo may be the immobiliser because you played around with the keys. I would check that first before replacing the starter
