I used to run those old series deeres back in the 70's and we had the ether starting kit on them that consisted of a port below the steering wheel that would except a ether can w/o the nozzle. The kit was plumb directly into the air intake on top of the engine. Worked pretty good.

At about the 13:30 mark you can see the grain vac on the side of the shed.Having loaded shot rock in quarries before,it has been proven the fastest and most efficient way to load using a wheel loader is so it's tires do not make more than 1 1/2 revolutions starting from backing out of the rock until it dumps it's bucketload into the haul truck. Granted, you picking up grain from inside a rather long and narrow building then backing out but earlier in the video it looks as tho your travelling several hundred feet to reach the truck. If your grainvac was moved from it's location alongside the building and your semi trucks was pulled up there alongside the building so the trailer itselfs rear just is past the shed, you would see that 1 1/2 revolutions, starting from when your loader cleared the entrance into the shed. Not trying to be bossy or critical but you can cut your truck loading time down by less than half what it is now positioning the trucks much closer.

Unload the hyd pump , put an electric solenoid on it like the 30 and40 series tractors , with the sulfer and parafinn taken out of the fuel, you almost have to work to get it to gel. Hook a fuel polisher to a solar panel and stop the problem.

I had a 3020 and a 4020, and, i farmed in Minnesota, they always started with a shot of ether, but, when it was below 10 degrees, i used a heater. I plugged it in about an hour before startingl. They did have a design flaw though, the fuel pump was located right behind the fan, i switched toe a winter weight fuel for the winter.
