Well Opening Disappointment

Since I showed this well in another video, so many people wanted me to show the opening of this well. Well, it was a disappointment for sure.
This is the well from the 1840 house. I was really hoping to show a deep well filled with water. But no, just a disappointment of rocks.

This is so cool! Is this on your property? I love this kind of stuff. I built a lot of houses on farms that had old homes and wells. Every day after work I’d spend a couple hours each night digging around the old sites, looking for relics. I’ve spent 100’s of hours crawling under my 1800s house until I found every coin and marble. Good stuff my friend! And by the way, you have always been my go to DIY youtuber and are the main inspiration for me starting my own channel years ago.

I have those reading glasses from HomeDepot for $4.95 too :D:D:D Back in the days, people would wall up wells to avoid somebody would fall in them.I'm sure the well is there.

Archeologists uncovered some Roman era wells in Italy (Siena) and during medieval times they used them as garbage disposals throwing everything down the well. Today we can see layer by layer what were people doing during medieval times by digging up the wells.
