London is a wonderful place to be 'stuck' for a week! if it's nice take the boat ride up the Thames to Greenwich, Kew Gardens, lots of cool maritime stuff. If the weather is stinky, go to the museums. I'd love a week in London this time of year!

If you haven't explored London that much, we found The London Pass to save us a ton of money on sightseeing museums, etc. Check out the Mayflower pub in Rotherhithe. Rumured to have been built from the ship after it returned to England. Excellent food, too.

Go to the British Museum, the Soane Museum, the National Gallery, the Tate Modern, Westminster Abbey, the National Portrait Gallery, Syon House, Osterley Park… just a few options. I would love to have a week in London!

I would love to be “stuck” in London for a week. So much to see and do, starting with the hop on hop off buses. I have been there a few times and never tire of it. Even a stroll thru Hyde park brings me great joy. Better that you are there a week early and make the cruise rather than risk not getting there in time for the cruise.

We flew back from Heathrow on the 15 of September from the Sky Princess. It was stressful leading up to that flight but we landed in Vancouver and made it on time for all our reservations to take 3 ferries to Haida Gwaii arriving after 3 days of travel. Such a relief that everything went smoothly.

Hi Don, I can't remember seeing a video off you staying in London before? If you have seen most off the sites, why don't you use the opportunity to visit some other towns in southern England? edging towards Southampton? Or some coastal resorts on the south coastline? Would be cheaper than staying in a London hotel, that's for sure? On the plus side the weather forecast for this week is good, 20 degrees and sunny. Enjoy your stay

Ya know many watching would give their eye teeth to be stuck in London...'the guilt voice". You have to be proactive in your life don and do it perfectly...there is no more positive guy in the planet that has to obsessivly watch health and then let it go as much as possible..and run a detail oriented travel business. If you like art..I have wanted to go back to the Tate since 20 years old...and it would have been easier 15 years ago..lol..whatever you do...have a blast and plan the best darn pre or post list of ideas for a week in London by just having wondrous discoveries...God may just have some fantastic plans up his sleeve.

If I lived in London I would show you the sights but my days there finished many years ago. However I really recommend that as you have time, go to Greenwich and see the National Maritime Museum, and also probably on another day visit the Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory. The Museum will be a day on its own, its an incredible place for anyone interested in the world of seafaring. I actually had a long distant relative who served with Nelson on HMS Victory ! Take a trip on the Thames and see the barrier, enjoy a pint at the amazing Blackfriars pub, just make sure its proper beer lol.

We leave on AC next month. I was so close to rebooking my flights. Don you know you could probably buy the airline if you wanted. Don't complain so much. i really now think that Don would rather complain than be happy. You're in England for gosh sakes. Go see the king.
