Earlier today; of the 9 people who fought the herald, 7 of them were still alive in Demise earlier today. (Joe, False, Iskall, Xisuma, Wels, Xb, Hypno). Only 2 people who were lv 100 in vault hunters have died, which is the same as the total amount of non-vault-hunters that were left in Demise (Bdubs, Mumbo).

Up to about now that was probably a reasonably safe assumption for most hermits, as they’d need silk touch and a deep dark biome, but I think we’ve probably reached the stage where it should be expected that someone has access to those materials.

It seems weird to me that hermits don't use video buffer. Like, with NVIDIA graphics cards there is a function that lets you save a screen recording of the last few minutes even if OBS recording wasn't running. You can even configure OBS to do that.

It's part of this Demise game that most of the hermits are playing. After a player's first death, they become a "reaper" with their name in red until they successfully kill another player (but not through basic PvP). After that one kill, they're no longer a Reaper and instead are part of the Dead team (ie out of the game). Last player standing wins a prize of some sort
