I like how the table saw you made is basically upgrading itself in the process! I think you should've made two rails, instead of one, one for both side the ensure the fence will not be moving, especially at the other end where lever arm is greater. Otherwise excellent build! Thank you, I will be building myself the table saw this weekend and the fence too!

Good idea, but there's the introduction of flex to the far end of the fence. It would need to have rails and fasteners at each end, both requiring individual adjustment.

Without a clamping mech on the other side, would your fence not flex if you were to rip a long board?

3:52 from this point on forward you can see the fence wiggle on the top side. I would do what you first did on the other side as well to keep it more intact.

maybe not. it jiggles when he moves the fence, not when its fastened. the only play will be in the elbow at the near end. i suggest bulking up the area where the slide joins the fence.

Opino que en el otro extremo debe llevar con soporte que ajuste a la mesa, pues la vibración o algún otro factor puede abrir la regla y causar un error de corte. Pues hay firmeza al inicio y no a la salida

I was looking at buying a T track but getting one in the UK is difficult, they're so expensive, but your idea of just cutting your own from a square tube is brilliant.

What were the pupose of the t bolts if the middle carriage bolt was the porviding the locking action? Great job.

track on opposite side will make it very stable since its placed longer side of the table and fence is pretty long and rather lightly constructed.

Hi Sir. What is middle knob assembly. Pressed thread nut in knob and turn into long bolt ( the head of bolt face inside the rail and end of thread of bolt stick out to turn knob in?? Was it right?? You didn't show how on those steps or too fast I didn't follow up! Thank you please give advice

Hi there, does your saw fence stay straight even at the end? It's a very long fence and i've seen guy's make shorter ones and complain that they moved left to right at the end ...you have the same problem?

The whole unit is a tee square and when clamped to the table nothing is moving. Lidl had some flat sash cramps which use the locking principle of a sealant gun, I will add a cross section to it and will make a perfectly good fence.
