Between 2016 -2022 I was Vegan but still consumed vegan processed foods. I fell off and returned to the SAD diet 2022 until present. During this time, I developed scleraderma (crest ) and RA and was diagnosed last OCT. I restarted a WFPB diet on May 11. I eat mostly whole raw foods but add the occasional quinoa and oatmeal with flax and chia. I have a smoothie and large salad daily. 2 weeks into it I can see skin improvements in my face, hands and feet. I can breathe out of my nose. My allergies are almost non existent and I stopped taking my allergy meds. I have lots of energy and lost 5 lbs. All this time, I had been doing it wrong. Removing the processed foods and oil made a big difference for me. Thanks for inspiring me to believe its possible to heal from autoimmune! My sisters had autoimmune disease(s) since 2005ish and she still believes its incurable and strictly genetic. I’m on a mission to prove her wrong by using myself as the Guinea pig.

No olive oil either?
@Sryker3 ай бұрын
@@athanasiatzr385 No. Olive oil is still a highly processed oil. While it has some good qualities, those only slightly mitigate the inflammation caused by the oil. I eat avocados, whole olives, nuts, and seeds for my healthy fats. The only Oil I'd consider adding is flax oil.

Dr. Goldner, I was listening in bed before I got up this morning and when you mentioned treats my dog who sleeps with me started wagging her tail. That's a word well used in our home. Lol thank you for the help. I have been WFPB Vegan for about 8 months now and it has helped with my RA .

Been doing nothing but the smoothies for 23 days for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Definite improvement in joints and pain! No change in psoriasis at all yet🤔

Just be patient. Skin is the last organ to get nutrients. Stay hydrated. ❤

I agree with previous comment. Skin is the first to show deficiencies and last to show recovery as the body will prioritize internal organs first. Patience and consistency are key! Keep going!!

Healthcare in the US is a joke. I have what is considered good insurance but have to practically beg my PCP to review my lab work. It's truly pathetic...

What should i eat in daily to prevent having autoimmune disease?

Can you talk about how to get the benefit of the smoothies and/or greens without triggering GERD and migraines? Does anyone else have more GERD and migraines with the smoothies? Can I tweak the smoothies to work around these? I've been a high compliance WFPB, low fat, low processed food eater for 17 years. 72 y.o. 4'11". Still had some asthma and constipation with lots of digestive discomfort. I did the smoothie protocol very strictly (not the intact raw food all day which is hard to digest [did that for months at a time] and requires high volume) for weeks. The high volume of watery food and the acid of the fruit created a lot of pressure on my lower esophageal sphincter and I wound up with GERD. After lots of tests I was diagnosed with IBS. My migraine frequency went up with the smoothies, and I have solidly connected that with high nitrate consumption (and resulting increase in Nitric Oxide) from the high volume of greens. That happens even if I eat the greens intact, but is much worse if I blend them. I put the GERD into remission for 2 years with all cooked, low acid food, but it's back.

Hello Dr G, my son is suffering from severe sinus problem which once it started, it will trigger migraine. On top of this, lots of gunks coming out from his nostril(looks like fried bacon) also severe pain around sinus area. Please advise how can i help him and would your HNP help?

Her protocol will help Lord willing!! It’s the best I know of for treatment! Also has he tried NAC supplements? Prayers for healing and faith🤗💕

@@CalmVibesVee thank you for your response , please advise on dosage of this supplement. Thank you
@CalmVibesVee3 ай бұрын
@@aziabubakartake it according to the label and as much needed for the severity of symptoms. I use 600mg 1 or 2 per day when I have bad symptoms. I’m 112 lbs. so he might need a bit more? So you would try 1 or 2 a day for a bit and see over a few days the help it may provide. I just take it when I get very congested in spring and summer pollen. For me NAC acts like a decongestant and helps any mucus not build up. It’s helps the respiratory system stay more clear. Apparently it can help support many ailments. It was a lifesaver for the virus 🦠 and allergy bronchitis.

You should get a “Doctor of the Year” award. Thanks for advocating for “in person “ appointments and spending time getting to know patients before treating them. Can you write a letter to your representatives advocating reimbursement for this? Maybe we could do a form letter and put it on Smoothie Shred. Because patients who cannot afford a “Private pay” doctor are often getting More harmed than helped by our current healthcare system. 👍 🏠 🩺 🏡 👍💜🙏

Thanks Dr. Goldner for all your good work.ive been following you with interest.I see you are a proponent of flax and say that it has omega 3. I thought it has ALA which is converted to omega 3 by the body. And that some people convert better than others . I'm sure you've heard this. What do you make of this?
