Fun Fact: In season 3 we see a donkey mom in the restaurant episode where PC gets fired by Bojack. She talks about getting a conference room to set up a meeting to get babies addicted to vaping. Now Katrina's amendment includes something to allow babies access to vaping. Continuity!

"I will always think of you" is a peak cinema! And the fly's story? _Gods._ Honey has some similiar character traits with Bojack, like their sense of humor and how they use it to cope. The lobotomy scene is gut-punching, every time I see it - another gut-punch. And "Promise you never love anyone as much I loved Crackerjack" is just... Poor Beatrice!

Probably gonna sound like nit picking; and maybe it is, however, I feel it's important to note that you absolutely can have a "happy" family and still come out with a Bojack; it just lowers the probability. Especially since there were already issues before just due to the time period, so the dysfunction was already there. After all people can be happy together because their individual problems can feed into each other or happen to not affect each other directly.

And the inverse is also true! You can come from a horrible, abusive family that teaches you all the wrong lessons, who chastises your kindness and empathy as weakness, who even try to end your life and mock you for not even being able to end your own right -- and still you can hold onto that kindness, that softness, and learn to see it as a strength, and be the person you wish you'd had growing up. I certainly did. A person's past is a HUGE influence on them, ESPECIALLY childhood, but as the show illustrates, just because there are REASONS for why people do bad things, those reasons are never an EXCUSE to do bad things. God I love this show.

Men, i really cry every single time i watch this one 😢 its so hard to empathize with Beatrice but man, i wonder if its worst somehow then just losing a parent.. this episode is just so beautifully done with Eddy’s story being extremely sad too, mixed with the other one at the same time on screen, just chef kiss. Im glad you caught that last line about not loving anymore, its crazy when you think about it. And of course to start us with such a dumb funny episode was at least a bit comforting lol, this season is really going to go insane and im so excited for it, by the way the two episode in one felt nice honestly, i was afraid wed see less but you balance it very well, loved the video 👌😁

The other suggestion I could offer is to rewatch after your first viewing and then add additional commentary after the video for extra insight. Just suggestions though, you do you. The next few seasons get really really good.
