HD2 is an actually good game, Microsoft hasn’t published a good multiplayer game in a while. I don’t care about having to sign into a Microsoft account for a game I don’t play. Also, while Sony do control what happens with the Helldivers IP, Arrowhead are to blame for this whole charade as well, because they KNEW that this account-linking stipulation was a thing when they signed on the dotted line to allow Sony to publish their game for them. Meaning Arrowhead KNEW that players in non-PSN-friendly countries would be instantly fucked once aforementioned caveat became active. Sony are egotistical bastards doing this for all the wrong reasons, but Arrowhead aren't free from criticism here, either; they knew this was going to happen and decided to let Sony have their way anyway. They likely said "fuck the players in the countries, do you see how much money Sony are offering us?!"

The problems is, Fortnite would be available to everyone even without Sony. (Just, It wouldn't be on playstation) Sony is just there for playstation purposes really nothing else. But where as with HellDivers it's published by Sony to steam, And likely everywhere else as well. They have a lot more say than they had over Epic. They couldn't of done that with Epic, Because Epic publishes their own games, But was basically giving Sony the privledge to put it on their platform, But yet again, This is just my understanding, I could be wrong.

Friendly being on by default was a massive mistake, and there's a reason Fortnite had to disable it early on because teammates would just kill other teammates for better weapons. As for what Sony has done with forcing people to log in to Sony's systems, this isn't exactly anything new. They tried locking away crossplay from Warzone and Fortnite for a time, and they walked it back because everyone hated them for doing that. Personally, cross play PVP is a fucking disaster when implemented because games like COD have such a huge gap between what each platform's default gear is (M&K for PC or Controller for Console) capable of in things like sensitivity, packet burst, cheaters on PC getting mod menus, servers running on different tick rates between platforms, etc. However, I don't think most people acknowledge those problems. Sony clearly wants to make the excuse that it's about security. Sony should be known for things like these happening, and I'm glad people are on the offensive in full force again.

It really was called R-stop and some graffiti nearby said 'Hard' changing it to 'The Hard R' which is kind of hilarious and very much in line with that kind of culture. But was changed due to 'Racial issues' since it's in reference to a slang term for 'Negro'. This isn't the first time they have done some shady stuff. Like the balance patches to a PvE game that no one asked for. Or how about all the bugs that still linger, such as the unlimited grenade glitch that is still there after many fixes. But as I bring up things like this, I am often told "They are a new game, they have a grace period." And I counter with "why do we accept games in such a state?" And normally be told off. So why are we still just accepting the state Helldivers is still in after a few months now? Why is Arrowhead immune to people pointing out the problems with their game and how they are doing things? All questions I cannot find the answer to.

I guess I’m not playing Helldivers for a bit. In support for my brother’s in arms that won’t be able to play the game. Also could someone get me a happy pill because this made me extremely depressed that a game that quickly became my top 5 favorite games of all time shot itself in the ballz. Even then I gotta ask how is this different from Xbox. When I started playing sea of thieves on my PlayStation I had to make and link a Xbox account in order to play the game.

You know what the worst thing is? On top of this amazing game being able to literally connect whole people from different walks of life. This whole game has pretty much unified consoles as well. I see a lot of people who play on PC and playstation asking when Xbox can join in reinforcements to eliminate the bot and bug threat. They've made such a good game that attracted such cool people that literally say hey, it doesn't matter who you are. What you play on or what you think, come join me in shooting some bugs and bots while wearing a cape. This game is a literal diamond with how its brought people from all walks of life. And the fact that Sony wants to take that away is criminal.

@dc3747 Microsoft isn't immune to this either. Their websites always have login issues for their fucking support pages. Every time I tried to modify my account privs, it's constantly said that I was part of a Microsoft family. The support page and Xbox Live website are garbage heaps. Also, there's still people providing modded accounts to that platform to this day. I doubt they're any safer just because they finally decided to fix the COD servers. Since I'm a PS4-5 player, I never had to use an MS account until I decided to get servers. So I needed an Xbox live, and it was a tedious process of fighting the website. Everyone of my friends refuses to renew their shit if they lose credentials or need to make a new account because of how shit it is.
