​@@sirsimonthesentry4787 i remember when the #/taylorisoverparty hashtag trended. i wasn't a swiftie yet (became one after folklore) but i enjoyed her music and liked her, and the whole situation seemed fishy to me, people on the hashtag were being straight up evil and the whole thing became a "we can say the most offensive/misogynistic things about her bc people don't like her now". i don't know what i would've done had i been on taylor's shoes because that was an insane level of hate, was so happy when she released reputation and went on a tour that she was doing well.

A part of the story is missing. In between the VMA event and the kanye song about Taylor more happened. He was going to recieve the Vanguard award at the 2015 MTV music awards, and called Taylor to ask if she would be the one to present him with the award, & that he wanted them to be friends. Taylor agreed & went on stage to talk about how she admires him & they are friends now etc. Then during his speech he then turns around & lies and says that MTV had brought in Taylor to present that award & that he was disgusted by that & that he would never want anyrthing to do with her & then preceded to say he was running for precident...... I remember seeing the pictures from that night, Taylor with her arm around Kim & then her face when he starts speeking & her moving away from Kim. She cried backstage & Kanye later sent her flowers trying to get her forgiveness & lure her in again..And because she wanted the thing to end eventually she forgave him again, and then the "call" happened... You also have to understand how the media pushed this Taylor is a snake narrative to the point that it is deeply ingrained in the GP still today, when they don´t know anything about her or her music.

To this day, I still don't understand why Kanye started harassing Taylor. She was country and had no connections at all with him. Like, she didn't do anything to him or the Kardashians. Fun fact. The Kardashians were fans of Taylor when she was country. There is a video of the whole clan in the front row of Taylor's Speak Now show in L.A. And even their mother made a comment in an interview that she admired Taylor because she's a good daughter.

I think the reason people are so protective about taylor is because she had a lot of hate just because of stuff that kanye did that was untrue and false and also just the general perception that a young woman couldn’t produce the music she did… also i get the shakespeare thing but in this day and age it was people like john mayer and other reporters that assumed a teenaged girl simply couldn’t write the way she does only because she’s a woman it’s inherently sexist and ridiculous

I think your wife should be a regular on each reaction Ryan, lol. I'm not a fan of this person. She posted a few TikTok's recently that I didn't really like. Just think, Kanye is a nightmare to deal with. I am not a fan of Kim and she will have to deal with Kanye for God knows how long because she has children together. Have fun with that Kim!
