Hi guys (and Go Spurs go)! Great to see you taking extra shifts in the summertime! Just one thing though, Jude doesn't remember when France got their last olympic medal?!? What the hell?!? We actually lost by 5 points in the final game of the previous games just three years ago, and got away with some silver, our best result ever! So sad to see a young brain being hit by amnesia... Might need some lighter weed. Or holidays. Or both. And anyway, we're here for you. Cheers from Paris, not on holidays either but on location

Hey Brice, I appreciate your sentiment but I just don't keep track of the Olympic finals in my head like that. 😂 There are a lot of other things I have to do in the day lol. I can tell you the NBA Finals over the past decade or so though! My bad for not confirming that on the show, I thought I had seen something on twitter about that but obviously I was very wrong there. As a french supporter I don't think the Wemby - Gobert pair meets the expectations everyone had, we got a few highlight plays but defense is not nearly as impenetrable as we thought, and especially on offense they seem to be clashing and get on each other's way, Rudy in particular was very clumsy and Victor mainly shot 3s with very few dunks and easy shots near the basket during the preparation games. Once again, the setup that seems to fit better is putting Wemby as the center with a true 4 next to him like Yabusele, with Rudy coming off the bench so you always have an elite defensive center on the court, this way we actually saw Wemby get lobs and easy baskets (although weirdly Vincent Collet doesn't seem to be willing to change his starting 5, so they still start the games next to eachother) Also, due to the lack of offensive creation in the backcourt in particular (which gets some weird rotations sometimes), and how close the first 2 "easy" games were, not many people here expect a medal unfortunately 😢

Compared to VW, Gobert is a lumbering center. VW should have run DPOY.

Yes exactly! A lot of highlight videos aren't monetized so that is why so many channels post them without an issue. I've seen stories of other smaller channels getting hit with strikes for having highlight in their videos so we just don't want to risk it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

So I heard Team France sucked at the PG position. They were not as bad as last year's pathetic Spurs team, but VW should have rested after participating in a league that played more games than VW is used to.
