I love to use an LED lite box to trace patterns and instead of using a window to transfer the inner placement lines, the lite box is great because it lays flat.

I do use a light box now. It's the best craft purchase I've ever made. :-)

Newbie here. I am wanting to do a toddler quilt with an appliquéd owl in the center. Looking to learn how to do it right.

And your appliques do not fray after washing? You do not turn under ever?

I just purchased the praying mantis. Super cute. I'm trying the svg file on my cricut; my first time using one. Your file includes a square in addition to the mantis parts. What is the square for? Thank you.

The square is so you can adjust the size. Different cutting machines import the SVG files at different sizes. Adjust things so that that square is 1 inch and THEN ungroup the pieces.
