Wells Fargo was wrong. Simply wrong. Even if their actions were legal, that doesn’t mean that was the right thing to do.

Her son took her to Florida and the court ordered him to bring her back to New York or he would go to jail. Something isn’t making sense.

While in florida he was spending her money like crazy, over 90,000 on a party in hotel.. he charged her card to the hotel and wells fargo found out he took wendys credit card. Her family were using her

Her guardianship/conservatorship should be left to her immediate family. Not some stranger or someone who is bank/court appointed. It’s so unfair how you can not have access to YOUR OWN MONEY! Crazy! By the time she gets control, if she ever does, all that money will be gone unaccounted for! That’s her money. Her money to lose if she chooses to!

I started watching Wendy a couple years ago. She always made me laugh, she was a great journalist. Her recent diagnosis is very sad. I wish her and all her loved ones all the very best. So sad. And to those saying it’s Karma, Wendy doesn’t deserve this, all she did was gossip like the rest of us. Many of you now are trying to be Wendy wannabes

I keep hearing that she EP’d this documentary. My question is how long before her cognitive decline did she start this process? I’m not sure it’s reasonable to assume that she would have been ok with being shown this way. I don’t know anyone who would be.

Well the guardian has said that Wendy has been diagnosed with dementia and aphasia.. So Wendy will never gain access to her finances. Why the family is not involved in Wendy's care is questionable, but I am not going to rush to judgement because I think there is more to the story than we are being made aware of. I am praying for Wendy

@Hereforthecomments123 that's normal for her son.her son is a rich kid. 100k is not a lot for multi millionaire to throw a party. He was taking good care of his mother.

As a court appointed guardian, myself, I have lots of questions about this court process, itself. Typically, there is be a Guardian ad Litem (works on behalf of the person) who does an assessment of the person and determines what rights should be restricted/terminated. If the judge is a good judge, the only way they would restrict or take away a person’s rights is if there are indisputable facts about the person’s cognitive ability to take care of themselves and make decisions. The GAL would also make a determination about who should be the court appointed guardian; family members who are willing to take on the role are usually the first in line to be the guardian, unless the GAL decides it’s not in the person‘s best interest. The son, the father, or any other family member can petition that same court with concerns about the court appointed guardian. Sending prayers and blessings to Wendy and her family!

Something about this seems so off. The last interview I've seen of her she was fighting this conservatorship. It appears that something corrupt is going on and this doesn't sit well with me after this diagnoses. Don't let these talking heads normalize and spin theft as if it's something normal.

I agree with you. Something is not right. "Someone" is keeping her on a lot of different medication, etc all day to keep her this way to hold this guardianship over her to take her money. @@nammoses7800

@@JustAskDrMacie I understand that part which is why I'm concerned that a bank official has the power and authority to initiate this whole legal process and not a family member. From the interview I watched she stated that they wouldn't even let her pay bills for her own son. You're lovely btw. You take great photos.

@@nammoses7800 so anyone can petition the court (probate of family) if they have concerns. The bank has a responsibility to protect people’s finances if they suspect financial exploitation or that someone is experiencing cognitive loss and cannot reasonably manage their finances. I’m wondering, though, where the Guardian ad Litem is and what the recommendations were bc it’s very strange that NONE of the family members have contact with her. So I agree with you. As we say in the South, something in the milk ain’t clean.

🧠 Degeneration is one of the scariest things to me, the thing I've always feared most. I'm doing my best to be/stay wholly fit, but the news this morning of her diagnosis made me research a bit more so I can step it up. I will not by any means obsess over it, nor invite that kind of energy my way, but *I absolutely will do everything that I can to prevent and avoid it, and to stay as STRONG as possible. Thank you, GOD.*

Our family member has a will, trust and poa. It didn’t matter. She was still conserved. The judge nullified the poa. It’s a crooked system

This guardianship is akin to slave ownership! It is a terrible look for the company! Give Wendy the money due her and cut her loose! So since she couldn't fulfill the new contract they signed with her, they are just going to use up the money under the auspices of charging her guardianship fees?#FreeWendy

Wendy had a real cruel streak to her. You can do celebrity news sites without malice but she couldn’t seem to help herself. I remember how rude she was to her staff right on camera too. That said, it’s a sad irony that she’s going out in such a low vibrational way. Dementia is dark enough without the underhanded stuff being done to her now. Very very ironic.

@@Thessalonians22-kg8pf save that for the people that never watched her. I struggle to think of anyone with a platform that is as cruel and unkind as Wendy was on her show. I hate that this is happening to her but it shows that everyone walking the earth is on limited time. Best to spend it spreading light than doing harm. I hope she atleast recovers her cognitive abilities to the point of her getting control of her assets. God bless her.
