Recently returned back to SIFU to finish the rest of the game after putting it to the side for a lil bit when horizon and elden ring dropped. Here's a brothas review. Where does SIFU rank for you in the games you've played so far this year?

Not gonna lie man... I think Sifu may be my favorite game of the year so far. Elden Ring is cool, HFW is top-shelf gaming and I loved it all. But Sifu? That was a tidal wave that came out of nowhere and kept me hooked for weeks bro. I got the Platinum trophy on PS5 and I wanted to replay it so badly, that I even jumped into the trash PS4 version and got the plat for that too!! Lmao

I absolutely loved this game. It definitely takes a couple hours to understand the mechanics and fighting techniques, but once that occurs it’s a real GOTY contender. It’s actually the first game I have ever got the platinum trophy for.

Congrats on beating Sifu bro, i'm sure you already know getting the true ending you have to spare the bosses. To spare them you have to bring their posture gauge up twice before their health goes down during their second phase.🔥 Parrying and blocking their blows can help bring it up faster.

@@TheGamer2323 it's usually a pattern that Indie devs been doing it seems lol they get more money on digital sales , guess they try to fish out as much as they can before spending extra on physical version. But then again the physical version of Sifu has a crap ton of stuff lol steelbook, thicc artbook , couple other things . Guess there's a reason they waited a bit lol it has alot more stuff in the physical version than most triple A companies stuff . Feels like the PS2 days with the mount of stuff it's in it. I'd say it's worth the unboxing vid possibly. Can't wait till May for my copy to get in. Been waiting a while to play this game lol

👌🏿🔥👑 SIFU is up there for me. Would easily be my outside contender for Game of The Year the way It Takes Two was last year for me where I had gone into the year expecting Ratchet & Clank Rift apart to be Game of the Year but ended up falling in love with It Takes Two. Coz going into this year my expected Game of the Year would be God of War Ragnarök or Forespoken, but we know Elden Ring gon have so much hype and backing behind it like Deathloop last year 😂... Keep up the great work as always chief 👊🏿🙏🏿...2022 we been eating good in gaming

Its most likely gonna be between Sifu and Elden Ring for my GOTY, and this is currently saying with 90+ hours in Elden Ring. Especially by platinuming, Sifu is just one of the few games that challenged me as a gamer to strive for not only skill, but for perfection. Understanding enemies movesets, level layouts, and moves were not only essential, but demanded in order to prevail. As someone who also considers fighting games to be my least skilled genre of gaming, Sifu pushed me like no other, and I’ll always remember my experience with it for years to come.

Gameplay is sick. One thing that really bugs me is the god damn loading screens and slow doors. When you're trying to do that under 25 trophy it is hell, one death and you are waiting 1 minute every time to load back in, Returnal really nailed the whole die and repeat integration. This game aint a graphical masterpiece it has no business taking so long to load and making you wait to go through slow doors to hide loading. Damn though that 36th chamber of Kung Fu trophy is hell. Its the only one i have left and after playing for like 50 hours total, I just cant get it unlocked.

Unpopular opinion here. Gotta say Elden Ring is too big man. The game has wayyyy too much things to do all at once, and as a result of that I feel the game doesn’t feel cohesive. It feels a bit of a jumbled, frustrating and amazing mess.
