I love Wera Tools. Their storage options not so much. The magnetic socket rails I have are nice and the magnets are very strong, but they are inefficient overall. Way better option for tool boxes, IMO. I think the Wera concept for storage is based on mobility and transporting tools around, not on fixed shop settings. That's fine, as the tools are really good for my needs (hobby items, light mechanical, installations). Their screwdrivers and hex keys are the best of their line. The Joker Switch wrenches are also very good.

You should look at some Ernst Manufacturing socket storage solutions, they are by far my favorite. The magnetic base twist lock socket rails are phenomenal. Tekton socket rails are rebranded Ernst

VIM might have the best socket mag rails out there. For the toolbox scratch issue magnetic tape behind the top of the wrenches where you angle it out would cure that.

I came across a very interesting bit holder made by kwb germany. It has one of the strongest magnet I have ever come across and spring bit ejection other brands oughta copy.

The other day I went to grab a Wera socket out of my never used pristine tool bag (I have tools in Snap On boxes the bag is for road trip repairs which I never do lol) 2 of the sockets fell off the rails. Like I stated this bag sits on my office floor. Really weird. Might switch the Wera rails for VIM.

10x the price of what? A $30 dollar set of wera hex keys is in a different league to a $3 set of hex keys... bozo
