Question: has anyone from ICR looked at the “dinosaur” carving at Ta Prohm and the two creatures depicted along side as possibly representing the three creatures described in Job 40? I don’t see the “water buffalo” or “horse” when I look at at them, I see the “unicorn” and the “leviathan”. Also the stegosaurus seems to me to be a better fit for “behemoth” than a sauropod.

That sounds neat. What is known as Leviathan I feel like is akin to ones that are rumored to live in places like Loch Ness.

*mwarrrr!!* May have to find y'all up there and come visit. Dragons and dinos are some of my favorite things (long as it's not a particular red scale who is the known adversary and trouble stirrer). I like to think that all the creature kinds found their way to Noah or he wrangled them up in one fashion or another, to maintain their existence. We don't technically know if ALL made it, but it stands to reason that if they did, the new worsened environment and the ice age would have taken some out. As myself, many of them wouldn't've fared the cold too well or been able to find enough food. As far as we know, some could have lived plumb up to the middle ages, or the 1100-1200s or so anyway; giving way to the legends of dragon slaying, as the larger ones like tyrannos would have been able to destroy buildings/houses if they got into towns, so anybody hunting out the poor things would've been seen as a savior of the village. In the course of civilization, it would have been pretty easy for them all to be taken out of existence. The draconian secret to gold and maidens is yet a secret we're not ready to divulge, however >>;=) As gryphons in art were a blend of avian and feline creatures, perhaps wings upon what seems ought be unwinged perhaps had pterosaurian inspiration? Or these depictions are akin to ones undiscovered that weren't preserved or just not yet found that might really surprise us. For every mystery uncovered, there are probably a handful which aren't.

Even the largest of the dinosaurs laid eggs no larger than a football. I'm sure the juvenile beasts would have been the choice God made sending them to Noah.

the only "fictional" animal on the chinese calender is? There are countless historical accounts of "dragons", there are huge "dragon" like fossils found. Maybe, just maybe there were actual dragon, huge lizards/reptiles. And like the fire flies and bugs that spit fire etc, these also breathed fire. Secular science is so closed to the idea of God and everything that disproves evolution, it is blinded by it's own bias.
