So in the USA a young man is old enough to join the military, but cannot legally buy alcohol. So ironic. I'm not American and have never lived there, so I can't say if this is good or bad. Also my country does not posses a military force. I have just begun to know Kyle Carpenter's story and it is beyond astounding, I wish many blessings to him.

I'm nobody, But the subject matter here ... the best way to deal with this horrible human world. Is either humor to a twisted degree or reject humanity because its way too flawed. Well..im happy that you still alive and i have respect for all soldier and for the family that has lost own lover son, daughter, brother,wife, mother,father in Afghanistan and in Iraq war ,im ex Italy Paratroops soldier and i can understand many sentimente and for this in a few month i want going in Kurdistan like volunteer to give my little help on people kurds,but i want ask you and all USA Soldiers what do you think on dirty lies on your politics? The famous fake evidence show on Colin Powell the fakeantrace?What do you think on that????What do you think on ex President W George that during Vietnam war him has stay hide in some base in Usa?What do you think on 99% on Politics in your country that are favorable to war for defend USA for patriotism,marvelous sentiment...but your son, the son on politics, not one for own country decide to going in Afghanistan or Iraq? If no one volunteers then they will force people to go. Also if no one volunteered for the military the world would be filled with terrorists constantly killing innocent people so show some respect we who volunteer for military or emergency services do so for those who won't

Fireoncityy they will never force people because you always will have volunteers. They are doing a great job and I have a lot of respect for them...but once again you have to assume the consequences of your choices, and this does not go only for militaries but for everybody. If you do not want to risk your life or be injured then, do another job.
