Girl you have been gaslighted, emotionaly manipulated, enabled, betrayed, lied to and straight up abused for years! And you are still here and alive! You do recognize that you are one in a million humans who have successfully survived this level of toxic behavior ! You are more then strong. It's the resilience for me! And you are still helping others while healing.

I dealt with all of that of that in my relationship of 2 years. The only difference is as soon as he breaks up with me, he immediately sleeps with another woman . And his excuse will be we were not in a relationship. But i know if we ended up being married and as the relationship extends he would have cheated just as described in this story time .The trauma i faced through caused me to have high BP. I was having chest pains because of the trauma he caused me during the relationship. The mental abuse, the false accusation , the ghosting, controlling, manipulation my bp increased to 160/100. That was when i decided to finally end the relationship . Hes still trying to get back with me and wants to marry me as soon as possible, but im so happy to say i no longer have feelings for him. I am free!

Sis I screamed when you mentioned his sudden religiosity because control freaks always do that. And I say that as 100% a muslim woman! This guy I was with for two years had no issue with being slimy but the second I disengaged from him he suddenly got so religious and was trying so hard to shame me. Even though he is 10x worse than I’ll ever be. It’s just a way to deflect from their own wickedness.

@Loved girl “put up with it” let’s not. We don’t need to find a way place blame on her in this situation. She stayed through it all because they were married, and she is was honouring their commitment.

@abigailblake6337 Жыл бұрын
@Loved girl unless someone has been married themselves, they will never know the gravity of marriage and how hard it is to leave someone that you have committed to spending the rest of your life with. They were together for 12 years and that was her best friend, you don't just leave a situation like that easily! She shouldn't blame herself for staying and being human. Even the most self-assured and confident people can do things they never thought they would do. I commend her for leaving when she did, she deserves all the respect.

This story time series has made things over the years make so much more sense. There are two events I’ll never forget. The STD prank and the trip to Japan. It’s insane how someone can hurt you, change your viewpoint on things as far as trust and then have the nerve to be angry at the monster that they created. Forgiveness is a process and trust isn’t something that grows back the way it originally was. It’s literally like gluing back the pieces of a broken mirror, you might just put it back together but those cracks are still there. I am happy that you rediscovered yourself under it all. There are some people that would’ve stayed and would choice misery for the rest of their lives. Convincing themselves that it’s the honorable thing to do and that the purpose is much greater. Honor yourself more than committing to a life of broken promises and unfulfilled wishes. You are the best example for that little one, she’ll know that being happy is an option for her because look at what her auntie did. I feel that everything will work out in your favor and the sun can fully shine on you now that you’ve gotten rid of that dark cloud. I would say the sky is the limit however there are footprints on the moon!! Here’s to you Daina, cheers 🥂. Wishing you prosperity, positivity, happiness, and wellness.

I came across your channel bc of this series, and man, I hate that you had to go through this too... My first boyfriend (who I fortunately didn't marry) had almost the same behavior: did not work (while I paid all the bills on minimum wage) and used depression as an excuse, accusing ME of being the cheater (when he was the one who did), threatening suicide, etc. The suicide threat was the last straw bc my autistic brain flipped a switch and I completely stopped caring. I said "fine, do it then." Of course he didn't... bc people who actually hurt themselves don't use the threat of self-harm to manipulate. I think he thought he could do whatever he wanted and I'd never leave.

OMG this is literally my story 😢. I was 19 he was 30, married at 22, 10 years of hell, domestic violence. When I finally decided I’m done he did not want to leave for months, I eventually had to call the police to get him out. It took me 10 years to see this man for who he was, it took the police officers 30 minutes, I cried when the officer told me she can see he is very abusive, I knew then I made the right choice. Your ex is all over the place!!! Even when we are faced with trials and tribulations, God offers us peace to withstand all of our burdens! God will not allow us to Mock Him by throwing Him in our life when it benefits our needs! I have walked with my Lord for a long time and I have a gift of discernment to see the fake liars who come pretending to know God! His discombobulated behaviour has obscured his ability to connect with God in the proper way!
