For anyone who’s been through narcissistic abuse, this story hits close to home. I cried a few times watching this because I actually felt your pain. The part where he randomly told you he doesn’t love you anymore and you described him as “ cold” that’s where he was making you go through the devaluing stage. A stage where your partner turns cold, and yet you’re there confused and extremely depressed trying to figure out where it all went wrong. It was his plan to do it right after he felt you had nothing to offer him after he depleted you financially and removed you from the house. He’s an absolute piece of shit. I am so proud of you Diana. I started constantly checking his phone and social media because it was just so hard to trust him after that. I was always wondering if he was cheating if he was late coming to my house, or if he was lying when he told me he stayed later at work. I stayed with him, but I was still angry about it and from time to time I would bring up the things he had done. One day I just got sick of it all and I was like, "I'm done." and ended our relationship. I’m late to this comment, but that’s exactly how my ex husband was. He was the perfect guy. The perfect partner, the perfect best friend to me. And then very shortly after we were tied down in marriage, things just went so wack. Suddenly I was chasing him all the time, meanwhile he seemed he had little to no interest in me anymore.
