We recently traveled to Bryce and Zion and your videos were very useful in planning our trip. Our kids had a good time at Mossy cave waterfall and I knew about the falls only through your video. At one time we traveled to Grand Teton for a day and again followed your video and our day turned out to be very productive. Thanks a bunch!!

I too love to take advantage of the campground nightly talks/lectures. They also have them in the Canadian Rockies parks. I think 90% of the time I actually never camp there. If you're not an early to bed type, they can really help extend the day with interesting activities.

Thanks for these suggestions. We hope to do as many of these as we can--in addition to the top ten. I especially want to visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.

Hi Matt and Cheryl, I am Matt as well and live in Orange, California. I am so appreciative of your incredibly informative and inspirational videos. Since the age of 10 I’ve wanted to go the Greater Yellowstone Area. In fact, for my 16th birthday, my family had to cancel it’s plans to travel there because of a prior sports obligation I had in high school. I went away to college in West Virginia, then married my sweetheart, created a family, worked hard to support, and now we are finally here. Our children are boy 13, and girls 10, and 8. We feel that now they are old enough to create life long memories from this amazing Family vacation. My parents will also be joining us (Healthy 70 and 68). Now I can finally treat them. :) This is for my 40th birthday (7/12). We will be there July 10th-17th. We are flying to Bozeman, staying in sportsman paradise (Cameron, MT) between the Madison River and Hebgen Lake. We will be staying in Cameron and traveling to Grand Tetons 1 day, Yellowstone 4 days, and Staying in Cody and going to “ The Cody Rodeo” our final night. I have literally watched all of your videos and have planned this trip according to your expertise. Thank you SO much. You seem like such a wonderful family and you have truly inspired me to follow my childhood dreams of going to Yellowstone. I would love to send you our itinerary for your approval and blessing. It seems so overwhelming trying to plan, but your videos have helped me organize my time and ideas. Have a blessed day and again, thank you for what you are providing for families like mine. God Bless, Matt

Matt, thank you so much for the kind words. Really, I’ve read and re-read your comment because I can tell how much this means to you. And I totally understand your situation, because we often travel with our kids and parents who are about the same ages. What an amazing birthday 🥳!! If you’re interested, I would like to give you our guide for your birthday. Please email me at mattandcheryl at wereintherockies.com if you’re interested!

I had my husband watch your videos and we are really enjoying them. I noticed when you mentioned all the places to fly into, you didn't mention Bozman. Is there a reason or was it just omitted. We are just starting to plan our trip for next year and it seems we can get a direct flight there from Philadelphia. I said I would ask you guys. Thanks.

Thanks so much for watching! At the time we weren’t as familiar with it. Since then we’ve heard from people and we’ve done more research and we are currently writing an article about flying to Yellowstone in our website wereintherockies.com. Also, we are releasing a new trip planner video with 2021 updates next week. But yes, Bozeman is a common place to fly into in the east and Gardiner is a great place to enter the park!
