There’s a theory about Tom being a relative to whoever took down Maria because in the first movie, Maddie said that his family has been living in Green Hills for over 50 years. Project Shadow is over 50 years old! That would be a great addition to this franchise to have Tom actually involved in someway instead of pushing him to the sidelines!

Same! I have been thinking about that kind of theory few weeks ago! 😲 If this theory turns out to be true, then I even think that once shadow learns that Tom not only is the descendant of the man who killed Maria, and also the adoptive father of sonic, not only this will make shadow feel more enraged but also develop not just hate but also a deep jealousy against sonic and he would attempt to kill Tom just to make Sonic suffer. So it could be a type of “if I couldn’t have Maria in my life, then I will not let you keep this human in your life!” Type of revenge.

I'm not usually that big on nostalgia bait, but man... those few bars of Live and Learn fucking Chaos Blasted me back to the early 2000s, where Sonic Adventure 2: Battle was one of the only games I owned for the GameCube, and me and my little brother played it so much that our parents could quote the little multiplayer soundbites that played when you used a special attack word for word. "Playtime is over" indeed!

look at 6:01. The shot with tails flying from the ark looks like they are in space. If you zoom in to his eyes, you can see a reflection of earth.

Could it be that there's some time travel in the film?, that would explain Gerald. Also, seemed like Shadow was creating a singularity in one of the shots.

So hyped for this movie!! I do have my own little theory on what could happen and it all depends if Jojo is in this movie. She’s done some stuff in the previous two as she was the one who gave Sonic his shoes and gave the tech that Tails had to Maddie and Rachel to help rescue Sonic, Tails, and Tom. If she’s going to do something in this movie, I wonder if she’s going to be the one who will help convince Shadow to do the right thing and help save the world like Maria wanted from an even greater threat. Great video Woflie!

As sweet as this sounds, I hope not. I think one human replacing Amy has been more than enough lol. It's probably going to be Sonic telling Shadow there's still good in his lungs or something

@@PepperMistAnimationshonestly I disagree. I love Amy. But her part in SA2 concerning Shadow is minimal. For story reasons there isn’t a lot of issue replacing her with jojo. I also was thinking she could be the one to talk Shadow down. I’m excited for Sonic 4 (which has already been announced) for Amy to get properly introduced with her own actual story. She deserves more than just being a set piece to move the story along.

@@shadamyandsonamylover My question is, what would a child be doing in a space ship surrounded by soldiers and aliens? It's not out of the realm of possibility, but honestly I want this movie to focus more on Sonic characters developing each other than pushing them aside for more human character screentime. Would be cool is Sonic 4 was more Amy and Metal centered, but I wonder if by then they'll do away with Shadow or incorporate him into *that* story too somehow. Would be a letdown to just ignore him after his debut this film.

The ship coming out of the water is the ark. The shot of tails flying in space shows that same ship but with a "mustache" similar to how it was in the games. Seems like the ark is much smaller in this.

I don’t think the sub plot will be about the human characters this time around. Something about it just feels like it’ll be about maybe Tails and Knuckles, like maybe they have to split up or something like that.

"she's on the floor" We can't actually confirm its Maria, but its pretty obvious its Maria (because Shadow and Gerald are both hovering above her). However, she's not _confirmed_ dead yet. They mention "loss" so we _assume_ she's dead, but she could just have been put in a coma and Gerald has her in a pod or something. Again, this is adapting SA2 mostly, but there's plenty of things that could still be changed, Gerald's death is clearly one of them.

They have the _rights_ to use Live and Learn, that doesn't mean it will be in the movie itself. They're clearly using Live and Live in the trailers. IIRC, I heard that the Sonic 1/2 trailers used Sonic music in the trailers, too, but the final films didn't have it.

Shadow the Hedgehog is my top favourite sonic character of all time, I've been playing sonic adventure 2 battle on the GameCube since 2004 and played sonic heroes also and in Christmas 2005 I've played Shadow the Hedgehog on the PS2, That 2005 shadow the Hedgehog game was my most favourite sonic game of all time and that game alone made me a massive shadow the Hedgehog fan, because of his story, motivation and his badassary. I'm so looking forward to seeing sonic the hedgehog 3 and I'm going be wearing full black and red shadow colour scheme on release day.

Mufasa is just not appealing looking and Shadow and the others are stunning to look at. I’m sorry, but I’d rather see Sonic 3. I’m not even interested that much in Mufasa. Sonic is worth supporting because they actually listen to their fans.
