8:24 Interesting that it seems that Garry foresaw the knight sacrifice that's why he played the move pawn-h6, which, previously, Yasser Seirawan had difficulty getting into Garry's head why he played it. Garry simply played h6 as a way of 'alternative defense' for the g5 square in case the white knight sac takes place.

Well, Kasparov played everyone younger than him and those top young players studied his carreer tricks as well. Karparov dominated most of those plays even against carlsen and nakamura, but not this one. Even up until now, this play is still talked about.

Wasn’t Garry’s h6 simply a preparation in case Wesley’s knight on c4 takes e5, fxe5, then comes Ng5?

I think it was his role to call the game, he spoke over the top of the others because they were analysing when the game was fast moving to being over. He was just doing his job. He did it well too, I’m glad he was calling that game because it needed a voice like his.

Ashley's clapping was annoying. This guy is too loud. It looks like he wants to show off more than his colleagues.
