A few things: I forgot to film an outro to this, so thank you to everyone for watching, please Like, Subscribe, all that Jazz- I'm also more active over on Instagram (@wesleykagan) for the day to day stuff, If you want more than once a month content. Speaking of once a month content, I'm one person in a garage, and doing once a month is working well for me currently, I'd love to do videos every day for you guys- but unless someone invents the 450 hour day, It's difficult. Sometimes I'll be a bit faster, sometimes it takes a bit longer- my biggest thing right now is to focus on quality over quantity, which I understand the algorithm doesn't like, but so be it. Thank you for watching, and for your continued support, comments, and insight.

I like drag racing. I like drag cars. I like big cubic inch V8's on methanol or nitromethane. I work at a drag strip. I usually don't care much at all about any other kind of motorsport but somehow this video pegged my gearhead-o -meter. This was easy for me to want to watch. The level of mechanic'ary depicted is astonishing. The music playlist is befitting also. You could have had heavy as hell metal, fancy hip hop and R&B or beautiful long country ballads, combined them all... and it would have added nothing to the video, imo. People like you are why I work at the place I do. Every man woman and child needs to experience some form of 'another level' racing fly by with the wind and fumes following at least once in their life. And when they do almost all of them will never forget it. For a minority like me and I suspect you, it's damn near religious. Did you even brag about anything at all? With all them slices of humble pie you ate the whole damn thing didn't you!?! When people get to experience that thing that you are building do what it is going to do and it massages their eardrums or blows their hat off their entire existence is going to be elevated and belong to that moment right then and there. As a track employee I have heard many drivers say they have forgotten what it's like to be a spectator because they never see their reactions like I do. I've seen laughing, crying, passing out, jumping up and down, pissing in pants... just a complete embodiment of(WOW)... Etc. Keep the bar high dude! Keep making this industry something that people want to bring their wife and kids and grill too, so they can sit back have a good time and enjoy the show. I know a subscription is just a notification but they all add up at the end of the day. Just like tenths on track times. So here's mine. Many podiums or checkered flags or winners circles to you brother. Hell yea👍

Hey! Last time I commented on your videos was pre-crazy car build. I just swapped an Audi 2.2 Turbo engine and its 5spd transmissions (swapped to rwd) into a 1999 Ford Ranger. Had to flip the axle upside down to get 5 forward speeds! I currently have a set of "reverse cut" gears waiting to be installed into my Ford 8.8 31 spline axle housing. Been hesitating worrying if they're compatible. They were meant for a Ford 8.8 front axle assembly. Until then, oh well! Plans are street/work/track truck. 400-500whp on pump gas 93 is the goal with a 62mm turbo feeding two 295/18 NT555 tires. Should be a quick little ranger. Anyways, love your projects. And when I look at the car, it looks like there is space for straight headers like on a dragster. All pipes would be in a row ( 6 out, one or two back inboard) so aerodynamics would be a okay. First, let me congratulate you on starting and running a Merc V12 "in the wild". When you get the time, please feel free to share over here! Some of us do not do IG, FB and the rest. Two suggestions; next time you tackle headers try "pre running" with wire to help "envision' routing and developed lengths, and second, I would have built the header to first merge as assemblies for three cylinders. That said, you did bang up- custom headers for even a lowly 4 cylinder engine is a pain- this must have been excruciating! And the sonics you did achieve are just glorious! Can't wait for the first drive- stock those were 500 hp or better; with a third the weight and better air flow, this can exceed your driving skill level really quick! FR

Awesome car man. With an ITB setup that is going to be run on EFI you may have to make a common plenum to get a good vacuum reference for the MAP sensor (assuming you are using one). Also depending on your ECU you are going to have to add a bunch of fuel on the tip in circuit (think accelerator pump on a carb) to deal with the massive influx of air at the crack of the throttles. You can hear the engine go lean when you open the throttle blades. I am sure as brilliant as you are you have got a plan. Just a few simple suggestions from an outsider.

Wesley.... I’m in PHX Metro area. Would be glad to lend a hand when needed. I’ve had a 120 powered Mercedes, a 275 and now a 279 powered car. Love those bent-12 engines.

Nice old Atlas lathe! I'm just starting to get mine all dialed in and I'm thinking of undertaking a project to drive it with a variable speed AC motor. All the belt and pulley and jack shaft crap makes a heck of a lot of vibration.

Came across this as a random recommendation. Subscribed after watching this. Very VERY Cool engine mod. Will be looking up past videos as well. Phenomenal detail to your components. I have always been a GM Big Block fan, and that engine sound is erotic.
