The only thing the police are cracking down on is getting money for themselves. The only arrests, ever are for the Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act. Only if they purchase unauthorized VOIP call minutes from international markets, costing the Indian government a substantial amount of money. Scammers who use VOIP based in India are left alone. Scamming, in itself, is rarely ever prosecuted.

I live alone & don't visit anyone nor have visitors, so I'm pretty much isolated even though I don't need to be quarantined. Stay safe.

These scammers are so polite making it difficult to resist. :). I had a relative many years ago almost getting scammed for $11,000.00. She had to go to Walmart to turn that 11k into a money order. Thank god a brilliant employee stopped the deal and called her nephew. It was later in the evening and my aunt was a prime target. Older and lonely recently having lost her husband. At that point her nephew helped with her finances so she never got sucked into a scam again.

I once read a ton of emails of a woman who got scammed so bad she had to refinance her home loan to get out of debt. 12 months later she had to do it again because they got her again by saying they could track what she had lost the first time. It was really sad to read how they played her like a fiddle.

I get multiple scam calls every day on my cell phone. People that I know, who end up talking on a legit help line, just hang up as soon as they hear the Indian accent. Sadly, it is doing some real damage to India's reputation around the world.... I hate to think how it will play out when enough people around the world only associate India with scammers. I love India personally. I have spent a year traveling through your country, and yearn to return some day. I love the epic story Maha Bharata, Ramayana, along with wonderful folk songs and poetry, what to speak of the great philosophers like Ramana Maharshi, or J Krishna Murti, and the Buddha himself. But is is up to India to put an end to this, somehow, some way.... the hate and resentment will eventually build to a breaking point.... everybody I know continues to receive these calls to the point where we can no longer answer our phones without fearing our number will then get sold to a hundred more scammers... I've already missed important calls because of this. I am hoping India's political determination to end scamming can emerge in time..... before India's reputation as a country and culture is too badly damaged.

Great work man, I always love messing with the scammers. One time this female scammer named Ashley who claimed to be from an online pharmacy and called me a sir which I am a ma’am said that I could save money on wonderful deals. Then she asked me if I needed help with any medications and I told her that I needed one that would help the demons go away, I was so tired of them and then she said the demons? Afterwards she hung up.

Pierogi, your videos are fantastic. I have been watching you for about three months now, and today I received my first non-recording scam call. Apparently, I won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes! They just needed first a $300, and when that failed, a $500 Amazon gift card to verify my identity. I got the call right as I was pulling out of my driveway facing a 1-hour drive, I kept the scambait going until I got home, and then for about 30 minutes more. It was glorious, I had so much fun. Thank you for all of the great information you provide, I wish I had the time and equiptment to do what you and especially Jim Browning do. Have a great day and May the Force be with you.
