Okay sorry but sidenote that it's not exactly that so much as pretzels in general being a symbol through out the show. Like, when she first arrives she's very excited about the pretzels and after Josh leaves her at the altar she steps on one in the parking lot when she's preparing for revenge (though I think that may have just been in the commercials, not sure.)

I know "Inland Empire" is lyrically incorrect, but at the beginning of the series, Rebecca is very naïve and seeing Josh clouded her judgements, so, of course, she'd get the area geographically wrong. Nevertheless, you never once admitted that West Covina was _not_ "only two hours from the beach, four in traffic."

I'm from next door to West Covina. It is NOT 2 hours from the beach and NOT in the Inland Empire, it's in the San Gabriel Valley but I gotta say, I love this show nonetheless and it cracks me up! 😂

I'm just here because a friend loves this show and says I should give it a second chance. I stopped watching after two episodes when it first aired because I grew up in West Covina (1967-1991), was excited about to see my hometown as a setting, and was very disappointed with the inaccuracies.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was for me the best show ever created, I watched so much quality TV but this will always have a special place in my heart. In time it will become a classic, I'm sure of it, for us that watched it all these years it is. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us, you and this show were both criminally underrated, but I'm glad to know genius people such as Lin-Manuel Miranda knew how good it was. You all deserve so much success and happiness, you courageously brought to TV so many different sides of a human being that are stil taboo and you did it perfectly. I learned so much from this story and I'll cherish it forever. You, Jack Dolgen and Adam Schlesinger wrote a fuckton of amazing, smart, funny and emotional songs and I don't even know how you did that.
