I grew up going to the science spectrum and Omni theater in Lubbock Texas. Before every show they would play this song to show off the sound quality. And it was from Lubbock Texas own Doug smith. I would get chills every time I heard this beautiful piece… and I grew up and moved to Oklahoma. I forgot his name and what the song was called.. 😢 and I thought I may never hear it again. One day I remembered his name out of the blue.. and after probably 15 years I found this video! Thank you so much for posting it. I’ve watched this video countless times now and every time that I do I’m swept with memories and emotion… and I’m a full grown man. 😅 but thank you again and God bless

0:30, Not really ”West Texas” in the geographic sense. West is north of Waco and actually in North Central, Texas, just an hour south of Ft Worth.
