We will continue on our walk along Westchester Avenue in The Bronx. This time, starting at Hugh J. Grant Circle on Virginia Avenue, we will get back under the 6 train elevated tracks and make our way down further into the Bronx. We will be in the Parkchester and Westchester Square area of the Bronx this time. Westchester Avenue is home to the elevated tracks of the 6 train from Soundview to Pelham Bay. We will hear plenty of train traffic sounds as we make our way along the busy streets of The Bronx. The avenue is lined with many retail stores, markets, street vendors, and places to grab some food. There will be plenty of people on the streets, and a good amount of traffic.
The original route was supposed to get the walk into Pelham Bay, but the camera was overheated from running all morning and it shut down. We will still get a good walk in, ending it on Middletown Road just at the beginning of Pelham Bay. We will also stop at St Peters Cemetery and Church.
Come along for this walk in The Bronx on a very hot and humid July day. No Commentary - 100% City Ambience and the sounds of a busy NYC neighborhood. And as always, Thanks for taking the walk with me!

Wow!!!! Awesome video!!!!!! I grew up riding the 6 train and has always is and will be my favorite NYC subway route. I know Parkchester and Westchester Square very very well. Again thanks so much for posting. I subscribed to your channel as well

I'm seeing more of the Bronx than I've ever seen before. Thank you for the walk. One thing that struck me is that I never knew anyone from Bklyn. who said they were moving to the Bronx. It was always one of the other three boroughs, New Jersey or well out of the tri-state area. I don't think the Bronx was ever popular.
