i very badly want to see pictures of Takashi walking around with clunky old analog equipment to record all of these sounds

Same, when I visualize this scenario, I am reminded of the Gargoyle from Stephenson's Snow Crash

I see a new Takashi Kokubo upload in my subscription, I click on it faster than light!!!! This one is a surprise. A more driven, mechanized, urban soundscape/energy than his nature soundscapes. Many thanks for this interesting, beautiful music.Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa.

for sure, seeing that name guarantees quality. Love it. Myself too am finding this quite different to the other stuff I know. Nice bit of funk going on

The sound at times reminds me of Bjork's debut, anyone else? I absolutely love Takashi Kokubu bless you for introducing me 🙏

@@lukebingus9432 "Theres more to life than this" sounds a bit similar in my opinion :)

Oh wow it can be played. It was blocked for a while, can't wait to listen to it all. EDIT: The train jingles when it arrives at a stop are so nostalgic of when I was there. How it's implemented into the music at 3:33 is great.

Kokubo's use of sound is just so intriguing. This is the kind of guy who hears music in the bustle of a city.

So cool that Kokubo took his sound to the technological world, the scope of his vision is so impressive
