We installed our Westcott Designs preload collar lift to pick up 2” of lift in the front and 1” in the rear. This allows us to run up to a 35” tire without any rubbing. When running 35” we recommend removing the front corner bumper splash guards and the mud flaps. It is not required with a 295/70R18. One of the great things about this lift is how it helps to get rid of the body roll and the dipping in the front when stopping. Customers state that they feel the truck drives better with our lift. This truck is running a 295/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler

My truck is a carbon copy of this setup, same Westcott lift, same color, Toyo AT 3's, same tire size, and even same running boards. A week out from my build and love it. I do get a tiny bit of rub on front mud flap when wheel turned sharply in reverse. I'll remove the flap no biggie. I'd like to maybe add 1.25" spacers one day just for visual stance appeal. Watching this video and others on your page is what helped me make the decision on what lift to add. A bit of research and say that Southern Off Road here in Alabama had done some Westcott lifts. Very pleased with results.

@swayback100 how’s the ride quality compared to factory? I’ve got the same truck, and factory TRD pro suspension really leans in the turns… does lifting it make this worse?

I ordered your lift kit for my 2020 Tundra Trd Pro. Can't wait to get it. The Tundra looks so much better with those Nitto's than the factory tires. Good stuff.

I'm wondering if running these factory offset wheels of +60mm is the main reason there's no rubbing issues with 295's. It seems like the rubbing starts when running +35 and lower offsets. I had a set of +35 Methods with no rubbing with KO2 275/70/18 but then changed to a Method wheel with +25 and they rub when reversing. (nothing removed) I have a 3.5" Ironman lift. I'm really thinking of just going back to a factory offset TRD wheel and run the 295/70/18. Overall, I think people are missing the important detail of wheel offset numbers when dealing with the rub/no rub issue.

I have the same truck in this video, but mostly factory. Curious why you put 2” lift in front and 1” in rear when the trd pro comes level from the factory. Wouldn’t this kit make it nose up? It looks that way a little in the video, but I thought that might be because of the weight of the tires in the bed. Can you post a link to this lift in the description?

What wheel offset would you run if you want the wheel flush with or out slightly past bushwhacker flares? 2021 Platinum Tundra with 2" level kit.

With flares you will want a 0mm offset on a 9” wide rim. Without flares stick to +18 to +25mm offset in a 9” rim

Going to use ur recommended tire size im getting new method wheels for my tundra as well what offset would you recommend?
@maxwellland1883

I would recommend going with something between a +18 or +25 offset as they don’t go too much outside of the fender well.

I thought 295/70s were 35s?? You seemed to contradict that in the video. Are those 35s on the truck or not?

You do not. If someone tells you different that is because they are wanting to sell you something you don’t need.
