Different from a Telecaster, yes, but still REALLY good sounding! What you did with that pickguard was GENIUS! But what did you do about the frets? BTW, plenty of country, rockabilly, and rock guitarists have played ES-335s and other semi-hollow type guitars, including Chet Atkins, Eddie Cochran, Brian Setzer, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton (during the Cream years), Larry Carlton, Ritchie Blackmore (early years), and David Grohl! The earlier version of it had a horn shape closer to a real Gibson ES-335. I’m guessing that they’re trying to avoid a lawsuit from Gibson with the newer horn shape, but what they did seems more original than the horn shapes on some other ES-335 clones I’ve seen like the Firefly 338. Come to think of it, 338 minus 333 equals 5… Hmmmmm, I wonder if that was intentional! 😂
