Get you a 14" carbide tipped dry chop saw. Blades are about $100 each but last a good wile if you're easy with them. Best thing i ever bought! And the metal is cool to the touch after the cut. Got a circular saw like that too.

You could say the rearend as that is the only thing you are talking about, not the driveline but 1 part of it. Speaking to the center section, 8.8” takes a hell of a lot more abuse in the tens of thousands of jeeps that have them as rearends from explorers. Off-road with shock loads and more leverage tire-side, more reduction gear side, is vastly more abusive. The link that breaks first will certainly be the radial tires-pavement connection. The CV are a point of concern when outside of centerline. My drag racing rear ends would be destroyed by my off-road trucks. Other way would be extreme overkill.

Small world. I'm watching this from Broken Hill - outback Australia. The small car with big turbo you used at the start of the video is from a small town in Australia called Nambucca Heads.
