I know the saying and I think most people do, but that's only true until the welds turn structural. There's a reason why they x-ray the welds on submarines and airplanes and stuff looking for cracks. If it fails lots of people die.

The most important part to put a support is connecting the top of both of the struts. It can be bolted to the cowl as it goes across the top of the engine, I’m sure your frame will need the rigidity with all the torque that’s gonna go through it.

This will be a unbelievable Mustang..so you got your second shop in town..might be time to build a paint booth. I built one years ago using 2x4’s Sheetrock and mounted lights vertical in the sides and overhead. Turned out nice..big fan in the rear exhausting fumes outdoors.

All I have to say .....is working on a few vehicles is almost like construction work....cant do this because we are waiting for the cement to dry, so we can go over and work on this until that is dry....samething....they could be waiting for parts.....or somebody wants that lift....people think!!! I live in the town the portakools are made in Center TX. I used to work for them for about 2 years. Every fall Lowe's Home Depot and places like that that sell them ship them back to Center for them to be repackaged. So just because the Box looks new doesn't mean it is.
