To your point of don't fix what ain't broke...well I agree...sorta. A couple thoughts. 1) You're going to need to replace it in the future any way and you already have the part so since you're replacing one replace the other. 2) Even though the old one works, it will function quite differently than the new one and could cause premature wear and tear on the new one lowering the life span of the new one.

Could be a really nice truck, take the time to polish up the wheels, put a "T" bumper on the rear, put double hump rear fiberglass fenders on it, put like a shit load of red lights on the back of the sleeper and add under tank flares with more chicken lights on the bottom of them, put blue LED's inside the air cleaner, put on a Drop visor oh and you need new chrome trim around the headlights.. just some ideas.. dont forget the shifter stick thats 2 foot longer either :)

You should put a peterbilt emblem on the front of the fummins and Cummins emblems on the sides where the power stroke ones used to be.
