Whew, I was worried from the brevity of the video that something terrible had happened. Poor lieutenant Goodchap on my run made it to July 1917 before getting summarily executed by a particularly feisty Fokker.

These presentations are great! I do have a question re: balloon busting missions. Why is there no roll to determine whether enemy scouts are present before the balloon attack commences? I found no guidance in the rules saying that balloon & ground attacks negate such a determination.

Good question! In the rulebook on page 16-17, under Balloon Busting and Ground Attacks [7.1.9] it states "In No Man’s Land, your encounter is the balloon (their locations were known.)"

p.s. I looked for the citation and still cannot find anything that specifies no check for engagement with scouts.

Disregard my follow ups. I found the citation on page 15,.. “If on a Balloon Busting mission or ground attack mission, normal combat rules do not apply.”
