Ms Debbie, thank you so much for your patience, sharing, and love! I’ve been trying my hand at Jamaican dishes to make my boyfriend have a taste of home on a regular basis. Well, I made this last night and I got a true stamp of approval. You’re seriously the best and so nice even responding to my question earlier. Thank you 🙏🏾

Ms Debbie you are the greatest. I love all of your videos some of which I have tried. Those which I have tried have been very good,. Your video that I just watched , okra and saltfish was extremely informative because it taught me a new way of doing the dish that was straightforward and simple. I am disabled and must sit when I prepare my meals. So this knowledge is a timesaver. Thank you so much for your caring attitude and the way that you prepare meals for all of your subscribers to enjoy.

LOVE your video!! Reminds me of my aunts & mother. I never ate this dish *in* Jamaica but we always ate okra with steam fish & plain rice. I like to slice up my okra small-small, & the slime doesn't trouble me as I grew up eating okra that way. I think this would be nice too with *bammy*!! Going to try it that way. NUFF THANKS, MISSIS!!

What a nice colorful healthy dish I don't eat the okra but I can make it for hubby and take mine out before adding the okra yes debs you can totally freeze it I always do because I plant them in the summer the saltfish immature well how about the female bell pepper is for eating and the male to cook with the ones with four bumps on the bottom is female and those are sweeter the ones with three is the male bless no stress

Wow I can’t tell you how much I really appreciate this recipe it’s nice to switch it up and do something a little lighter in the kitchen. Being a Jamaican I just love the Caribbean spice and flavors and the way we cook but as someone who tries to live a fairly healthy lifestyle I would really appreciate you doing more videos like this on the healthy side with less carbs and starch. This was perfect because we are getting protein from the salt fish and the okra as our green veggie this is awesome
