True miss Debbie, I felt my way around cooking before I became good at it and I made alot of mistakes until I'm good at cooking today. Yes Miss Debbie if some of us see how them prepare the food that some of us are buying at some restaurants we would faint 🤣. your rice and peas looks yummy Miss Debbie 😋😋😋👍

Mrs. Debbie, the instant pot not going to be the same for you. But will be excellent for the back yard dinning. Make sure you buy extra inserts and accessories when you first get your instant pot. I dont like cooking but I'm expected to cook. Watching you has helped alot. I know if I don't cook someone gonna cook and he gonna go a stray so I cook. In my instant pot I use 1 1/4 cup of liquid to 1 cup of rice. The pot has a rice button. I hit that button and go sit down, never breaking a sweat. I love it. I was thinking about a Ninja Foodi so I can air fry my food, and crisp, saute, and pressure cook all in one pot. But now Instant pot has a new air fryer on the market and it comes with a rotisserie basket. And Mrs. Debbie , 4 cups of water to 1 pound of pasta, cook for 2 minutes on high pressure, leave in pot for 5 to 6 minutes before releasing the steam. Perfectly cooked pasta. No water to drain. I cooked pork ribs in apple cider done in 35 minutes then broiled them with BBQ sauce in my oven. Ninja Foodi I could have done it all in one pot. I cooked a pot roast frozen with vegetables, and pasta in under an hour. Just got up twice to add the veg. Then the pasta. Sorry if I went to long. But you have me up now and got me cooking. 😘

I like the stove top pressure cooker better than an electric pressure cooker. I have both. For me, the stove top pressure cooker has more versatility and comes to pressure faster than an electric one. I am glad that you used a stove top pressure cooker in this video! Also, I like the way you use your hand to taste your dish for seasoning. I now use your way. Ain't nobody got time to be washing a bunch of spoons used to taste for seasoning. And it's better than using the same spoon that you are stirring with to taste. I see a lot of people do that and that's probably what cooks do in restaurants. I hate that!

Sheppy Bradshaw, watching Mrs. Debbie help me get over my fear of the pressure cooker. I still scream sometimes when I release the steam. But for the most part I remember to throw my dish towel over the release valve. I think the steam scares me the most.
