Definitely make this a series! Very interesting and well made. There are many cops which actually serve the community well but are weighed out by the bad information from the press.

What we might have heard on 2/5/24: Today we were assigned to ensure a group of migrants got on a coach to be moved to a new destination as per the law of the land. Unfortunately some teenagers told us we mustn’t do this and they were in charge now not the government. Faced with this terrifying reality we agreed with the teenagers and abandoned our duty to uphold the law with no migrants getting on the coaches. How brave we are! Oh and how clever we are too. We made sure to arrest a batch of protesters so it looked like we were making an effort - however weak. But don’t worry the majority will all be released later without charge once we have got the press to use the “45 arrests” headline - can’t have Sir Mark being upset by awkward questions at his next liberal left dinner party can we.

6+ yrs as a custody officer at Westminster and I can say that it was without a shadow of a doubt an appalling place to work, terrible senior management and an appallingly low standard of officer, if you speak a foreign language you will serve in Westminster no matter how bad you are.

I have a lot and a lot and I mean a lot of respect for the Police. The Police provide a very but very valuable public service. Policing isn't just about catching criminals and maintaining order - a large part of the job as a Police Officer is ensuring the welfare of vulnerable people. I have only ever had good experiences with the Police in the United Kingdom and Portugal also and I know that they're always there to help me should the need ever arise. I'm disabled myself, and I believe that it's important for disabled people to be able to trust the Police - disabled people are more likely to be victims of crime than they are to be offenders.
