Honestly, you have to nuance that a bit. The reason Westwood _sold itself to EA_ (never forget that detail) is because they had done some failed experiments and were low on money, and the company was about to collapse. Yeah, EA's handling utterly destroyed the dynamic inside the company, but in the end, it was Westwood who made the step to EA.

Nyerguds yea i know, im not denying anything, i know it was Westwoods poor decisions to got them into that position. But thats not the point, the point is that(in my opinion!) it would be better for em to go bankrupt, their games were up to becoming legends. ea took a dump on that legacy.

They could bring back westwood and EA has the money to do it but they have to convince the origanal workers to come back to work but still its EA's own mistake on what happened to westwood. Its been 5 years and I say Bring Back westwood studios.

Those were the days. Shit was exciting and games were going in so many different directions. Nothing feels as groundbreaking now - just a lot of the same rehashed stuff with extremely rare exceptions. Back then new genres were popping up every minute.

C&C 3 was ok but yeah, I miss westwood. No more Dune games *cry* The former employees made petroyglyph who produced the starwars RTS games so Westwood lives on in a sense but it just isn't the same.
