This is at least my third time watching this. I just love the simplicity of it and how amazing what some good paper, water and pigment will do, especially when guided by such experienced hands as your own. I want nothing more than to finally give this a shot of my own, but life is calling, darn it! Thanks for showing the true "mind of watercolor" in all of your paintings. I'm continually amazed by what water and color can do and love the peace that comes by watching the process.

So inspiring!!! I'm watching this at work, and this is just the kind of thing that makes me want to run home and get in front of my watercolour paper and get going. Why isn't it 5pm yet??? Yesterday I sat in a meeting and there was a view of 3 church steeples and I just had to start sketching it, and I got lost in it and then my manager asked me a question.... that was awkward.

Just beautiful..I love the soft mist in this painting and very peaceful..the colors blend so good together and the whole painting is just excellent. I am a drawer but have not yet started painting with water colors and feel scared to. You are a great teacher. I think maybe I would not buy the right paints, brushes etc that are needed that is within my budget. Thank you for your expertise and instruction. I am learning so much from you.

That painting had a very "watercolory" feeling if there is such a word. For me wet into wet certainly shows "the mind of watercolor" working its magic. I like watercolor paintings to look like they were done in watercolor and that painting certainly does.

Crazy coincidence- was reading my Zoltan Szabo watercolour book today, he was describing a similar fir tree technique but didn’t give quite enough info for me to really take it on board to try.
